Abstract: Liquid pump (1) comprising: a cylinder (24), an inlet valve (47a) for feeding the liquid into said cylinder (24), a discharge valve (47b) for discharging the liquid out of said cylinder (24), a piston (52) actuated by a transmission tube (51) and sliding in said cylinder (24) so as to draw said liquid into said cylinder (24) and then to expel it from said cylinder (24). The cylinder (24) comprises at least one heating cartridge (41) in order to heat the liquid in said cylinder (24).

Abstract: Methods and systems for mosaic rendering are described. In some embodiments, an image featuring a person is received. A message associated with the person is received. A mosaic rendering scheme is modified to create a modified mosaic rendering scheme including the image based on receipt of the image and the message. A mosaic display is rendered including the image and the plurality of additional images based on the modified mosaic rendering scheme, the mosaic display including the image and the plurality of additional images in a display pattern in which each image is adjacent to at least one other image. A user inquiry is detected relative to the mosaic display in proximity to the image. A message display is generated including the message based on detection of the user inquiry. Additional methods and systems are disclosed.

Abstract: A movable cooking appliance comprises a structure which is adapted to be placed on a kitchen worktop appliance or inside a cooking oven appliance and includes a heating element and releasable connector assembly for making electrical connection with power supply connectors. The heating element is an induction heating element and an electronic driving unit is mounted on the appliance. The releasable connector assembly comprising a plug connector having a plurality of terminals designed in order to provide a disconnection signal to the electronic unit before the power supply connectors are fully extracted.

Abstract: An approach is provided for managing a display of a keyword search result. First Document Object Model (DOM) element(s) in a web page DOM are identified as including DOM element(s) specifying first content that is relevant to the keyword. Second DOM element(s) in the DOM are identified as specifying second content that is irrelevant to the keyword. DOM element(s) are determined to specify paragraph(s) in the first content which were hidden from view as a result of a prior search of another keyword and based on the paragraph(s) not including the other keyword. The display of the result of the search is generated to include the first content and the paragraph(s) according to modified first attribute(s) of the DOM element(s) specifying the paragraph(s), and hide the second content from view, according to modified second attribute(s) of the second DOM element(s).

Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing induction welding. A number of protective layers are positioned between a susceptor layer and at least one of a plurality of workpieces at a weld location. An undesired current path is prevented from forming at the weld location during induction heating of the plurality of workpieces by the number of protective layers.

Abstract: A vulcanized latex loop or loops, wrapped by multiple spirally wound, generally non-elastic ribbons may be stretched over the legs and tail of a dressed bird to close the cavity of the bird during cooking. The loop or loops may be stretched to bind a bird in various ways depending upon the size and configuration of the bird.

Abstract: The street and ground warming system is used to prevent both the surface and sub-surface of a street or ground from freezing. The system includes a box that is partially buried, and atop of said box is provided a solar cell array that generates electricity to power heating elements. The heating elements may extend from the box, and through the sub-surface and emit heat therefrom. The heating elements may stay within said box and coil around rebar that passes there through so as to enable transmission of heat to a sub-surface structure. Alternative powering means may change the location of the solar cells or eliminate the solar cells all together.

Abstract: Basket apparatuses for use in food product preparation are provided that can be placed in cooking apparatuses. The basket apparatuses can include a plurality of side walls of one or more base sheets forming unitary side wall lattice-like portions and forming side wall component connection portions. The basket apparatuses can include a bottom wall of a base sheet forming a unitary bottom wall lattice-like portion and forming bottom wall component connection portions. The bottom wall is attached to the side walls to define a food product receiving space. The basket apparatuses includes a plurality of shelves with each shelf being pivotally connected to opposing side walls and movable between a stackable horizontal position and a stackable vertical position in the food product receiving space. Each shelf includes a base sheet forming a unitary shelf lattice-like portion having apertures therein forming substantially flat surfaces on which food products are placeable.

Abstract: A distributed spreadsheet application executes at a server and a client in a network. The networked spreadsheet application can generally be used without requiring a user to install any specific spreadsheet software prior to using the application. In one implementation, the spreadsheet application may include a client engine that executes within browser programs of a plurality of client computing devices and server logic. The server logic may be configured to distribute the client engines to the plurality of client computing devices of the spreadsheet application when requested through the browser programs of each of the plurality of client computing devices. The server logic synchronizes a single spreadsheet document that is simultaneously open at the plurality of client computing devices.

Abstract: A beverage brewing device includes a water tank, a base, a filter, a plug assembly, and an actuator mechanism. The base supports the water tank above a support surface. The plug assembly connects with the water tank and is operable between an open operating position in which water can flow from the water tank through the plug assembly and a closed operating position in which water is precluded from flowing through the plug assembly. The actuator mechanism is movable between a first operating position and a second operating position. The actuator mechanism is cooperates with the plug assembly such that when in the first operating position the plug assembly is in the closed operating position and when in the second operating position the plug assembly is in the open operating position. The actuator mechanism includes an operator actuated surface that is accessible from an exterior of the base.

Abstract: The Food Smoker Adapter converts an outdoor cooking system into a meat smoker without physical modification. It is comprised of a lid, smoke chamber, meat skewers, and a wood chip pan. It can also act as a stand alone meat smoking system when used with an auxiliary electric heating element. The smoke chamber is a tube or duct, and is placed on the wood chip pan or an accessory allowing the stacking of an additional smoke chamber. The wood chip pan rests above the heat source. Skewers are placed across the top of the smoke chamber allowing meat to hang inside. The lid acts as a smoke chamber lifting mechanism, and has tabs that snap into slots near the top of the smoke chamber allowing the lid, smoke chamber, skewers, and meat to be removed and set aside allowing access to the wood chip pan for tending.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for brewing a beverage from precursor particulates. The apparatus comprises a liquid delivery system for delivering liquid into a brewing basket. The liquid delivery system comprises a showerhead disposed above at least a portion of the brewing basket. The showerhead has a plurality of outlet openings through which liquid flows outward from the showerhead into the brew basket. At least two of the outlet openings are oriented to direct the flow of liquid out of the showerhead at least in part transversely of the brew basket.

The server-side aggregation and rendering is interrupted, based upon the comparison, once the threshold value is exceeded. Further, an intermediate result of the portal page is prepared based on the server-side aggregation and rendering for sending, such that a client-side processing completes the interrupted aggregation and rendering of the portal page.

Abstract: An assembly includes a first steel component that is joined to a second steel component by a weld joint formed in a hybrid welding process. At least one of the first and second steel components is a through-hardened bearing steel. In the hybrid welding process, base material of the first and second steel components is melted, and a molten filler material including at least 90% nickel is added. The weld joint is formed after solidification of the molten base material and of the molten filler material. The weld joint has a central solidified portion and a peripheral solidified portion, and the central solidified portion includes at least 80% filler material and the peripheral solidified portion includes no more than 20% filler material.
