The processor is also configured to determine an outcome of each game, where each outcome is a qualifying outcome or a non-qualifying outcome, as well as to evaluate the matrix of game positions to determine whether a qualifying pattern is formed in the matrix by at least two qualifying outcomes. In response to the qualifying pattern being formed, the processor is also configured to provide an award to a player of the electronic gaming machine. Each outcome may be individually evaluated to provide one or more additional awards to the player as well.

A card game method using the curved tabletop includes providing a playing card deck having 52 cards; distributing three cards to the dealer area and to the player area; determining whether to obtain an additional card to approach and not exceed a score of 27; exposing the dealer's cards and the player's cards; and determining whether the dealer's or the player's cards achieved a score closest to 27. The game method includes determining whether the three cards match a criterion listed on the odds and payout list. This simple card game is quickly understood by players who then feel comfortable playing without confusion.
