Abstract: A carton includes a tray having at least one locking tab; and a sleeve having an inner wall having indentations, in which the tray and the sleeve are shaped and sized to enable the tray to move within the sleeve. Then at least one locking tab is configured to engage at least one of the indentations to allow the tray to move in a first direction relative to the sleeve and provide a resistance to discourage the tray from moving in a second direction opposite the first direction relative to the sleeve.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a latch mechanism configured to secure two bodies together by simply placing one body on top of the other and applying moderate downward pressure to the top body. The latch mechanism includes a housing and a latch partially disposed within the housing. The latch includes a main body, and a primary hook and an opposing secondary hook both extending from the main body. The latch is configured to be rotatable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the primary hook is not obscured by the housing. In the second position, the primary hook is substantially obscured by the housing. The latch mechanism also includes a bias configured to bias the latch toward its first position.

Abstract: A child-proof container including a storage having a lateral wall, a closure system of the storage, a first coupling portion carried by the closure system, a second coupling portion carried by the storage and configured for cooperating with said first coupling portion for locking the container in a closed condition. The second coupling portion includes a tab from the lateral wall of the storage. The container includes a spacer interposed between the tab of the second coupling portion and the lateral wall.

Abstract: A blow molded container is provided. The container includes a neck having a neck finish and a transverse rim that defines an opening. A closure is provided that is engageable with the neck such that the rim is movable relative to the neck to define one or more vents configured for passage of a gas. In some embodiments, methods of use and manufacturing containers are disclosed.

Abstract: A modular magnetic strip holder 10 is assembled from a plurality of individual magnetic holder units 12 into an elongated strip holder configuration for securely holding various types of tools, utensils and other items. Various configurations of connectors may be utilized to assemble together in end-to-end relationship any number of individual magnetic holder units 12 so as to form an elongated strip holder of a desired length, while also enabling the magnetic strip holder 10 to be disassembled if desired.

The entrance of the filler port into the lid is located at a height part way between the inside and outside walls of the lid. The lid has a downwardly extending hollow peripheral formation. The filler port is spanwise inset from the peripheral formation. The lid has spanwise extending internal formations that stiffen the lid and divide the internal chamber into sub-volumes connected by necks through which liquid can flow. The inside and outside walls of the lid may be connected. The lid is provided with a “fill to” line visible from the filling port to discourage over-filling. The lid may have an insulated cap, and the cooler may have an insulated jacket.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a box insert and a box system that uses said box insert. The box insert may have an insert bottom and four insert side walls extending from the insert bottom. A flap may extend from each insert side wall. Each flap may have a first panel connected to its respective insert side wall by a first score line, a second panel connected to the first panel by a second score line, and a third panel connected to the second panel by a second score line. The box insert may be configured inside of a box whereby one of the score lines of each flap is folded over a box edge to suspend the box insert inside of the box. A box lid may be configured over the box insert to help secure the box insert to the box.

Abstract: A mixing cup for mixing and dispensing a mixed beverage is described. The mixing cup is designed to attach externally to a primary container that holds a primary liquid. The mixing cup contains a secondary liquid in fluid separation from the primary liquid until the two liquids are mixed, as a result of the user drawing the primary liquid from the primary container, in a mixing chamber of the mixing cup and the mixture is dispensed to the user. The flow of the secondary liquid into the mixing chamber may be adjustable by the user.

Abstract: A pill container includes a base with a cavity and a lid movable between a closed position and an open position. The base has an integral spring tab such that when the lid is unlocked from the base, the spring tab pushes against an interior part of the lid to move the lid from the closed position to the open position.

Abstract: A lid counts a number of patient accesses to a pill bottle. The lid has an actuator, a main housing containing the actuator and an access counter responsive to the actuator. The actuator stores energy in response to axial force manually applied to mount the lid on the bottle and releases the stored energy in response to counter-axial force manually applied to remove the lid from the bottle. Each release of energy causes the access counter to advance one interval, indicating an accumulated total of advances and, therefore, the total number of times the bottle has been accessed. The lid can be adjusted to account for taking various numbers of pills per dosage over a predetermined time period.

Abstract: A reinforced plastic container having improved rim planarity. The container has a non-round main body portion integral with a finish portion. The main body portion has a central longitudinal axis and defines a hollow interior of the container. The finish portion has an upper surface defining a rim with a circumference framing a round opening that provides access to the hollow interior of the container, a radially outwardly extending snap bead being adapted to receive and retain a closure and hermetically seal the container and including interrupted portions located around the circumference of the rim, and a plurality of reinforcements located in the interrupted portions of the snap bead and assuring substantial planarity of the upper surface of the rim even when substantial forces act on the container. Additionally, the method includes forming mounting holes in one of the vertically-extending surface at first mounting hole locations identified by apertures defined by the first panel or the horizontally-extending surface of the frame at second mounting hole locations identified by apertures defined by the second panel.
