  • Patent number: 11543860
Abstract: In aspects of adaptive grip suppression, a wireless device has a display screen with curved display edges to display a selectable element in a region of a curved display edge. The wireless device implements an adaptive control module to adaptively tune grip suppression in the curved display edges of the display screen, which limits a device application action from being initiated based on inadvertent touch inputs on the selectable element. The adaptive control module can adaptively tune the grip suppression by decreasing the grip suppression in the region of the curved display edge proximate the selectable element responsive to false rejects indicating that the device application action is not initiating responsive to intended touch inputs, or by increasing the grip suppression in the region of the curved display edge proximate the selectable element responsive to false accepts indicating that the device application action is initiating responsive to inadvertent touch inputs.

  • Patent number: 11531402
Abstract: Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for controlling the presentation of one or more virtual or graphical elements on a display in response to bimanual hand gestures detected by an eyewear device that is capturing frames of video data with its camera system. An image processing system detects a first hand and defines an input plane relative to a surface of the detected first hand. The image processing system also detects a series of bimanual hand shapes, including the detected first hand and at least one fingertip of a second hand. In response, the system presents a first movable element on the display at a location that is correlated with the current fingertip location. In addition, the image processing system determines whether the detected series of bimanual hand shapes matches a predefined hand gesture. In response to a matching gesture, the system executes a selecting action of an element nearest the current fingertip location.

  • Patent number: 11487415
Abstract: An interactive and automated summarized schedule on a digital canvas includes a hierarchy of logic-tied schedule densities generated from source schedule activities and for which there is the ability in real-time to zoom in/out among the hierarchy of logic-tied schedule densities. For example, the hierarchy of logic-tied schedule densities is generated in response to and as the timescale (e.g., grid spacing) is compressed or stretched. This permits users to “zoom in” and “zoom out” on the digital canvas to observe the schedule activities individually or at various levels of summary groups that are summed-up from underlying individual activities, all while maintaining logic-relationships between the summarized groups.
