Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for customizing and storing workflow processes for use in remediation incidents such as security events. One aspect of the invention relates to providing tools to enable creation of customized workflow processes for event driven incident remediation, monitoring and analyzing system activity to identify occurrence of incidents, assigning a workflow process to an incident, applying the assigned workflow process to remediate the incident, and tracking and graphically displaying the status of the workflow process, among other things.

Abstract: One embodiment of an existing customer lead generation system comprises a vendor customer information database, a vendor criteria database, a web server, a matching engine, and a transmission component. The vendor customer information database identifies vendor's existing customers. The vendor criteria database determines which leads each vendor wants to receive. Separate criteria may be specified for consumers that are existing customers and consumers that are not existing customers. The web server receives characteristics of a consumer and a product or service. The matching engine compares the consumer characteristics with the vendor customer information database to identify vendors for which the consumer is an existing customer. The matching engine applies existing customer criteria to match the consumer with existing vendors. The matching engine applies non-existing customer criteria to match the consumer with other vendors.

Abstract: A method for remote management of appointment data includes: storing user data entries, each including a user identifier and calendar data entries associated with a calendar provider; receiving appointment data including a time range, an originating user identifier, invitee user identifiers, and an appointment length; identifying an originating user data entry that includes the originating user identifier and invitee user data entries that include the invitee user identifiers; transmitting a calendar data request to the respective associated calendar provider for each calendar data entry included in the originating and invitee user data entries; receiving calendar data for each calendar data entry that includes availability in the time range; identifying an appointment time having a highest availability of invitees based on received availability; and transmitting the appointment time, for each calendar data entry included in the originating and invitee user data entries, to the associated calendar provider.

Abstract: A method for computer-assisted determination of usage of electrical energy produced by a power generation plant such as a renewable power generation plant is provided. The method uses a plurality of neural networks having a different structure or being learned differently for calculating future energy amounts produced by a power generation plant. To do so, the energy outputs of the power generation plant forecasted by the plurality of the neural networks are used to build histograms. Based on the histograms, energy amounts for different confidence levels describing the likelihood of the availability of the energy amount are determined, and different uses are assigned to different energy amounts. Energy amounts having a higher likelihood of availability in the future are sold at higher prices than other energy amounts.

The data may be sorted and stored in a way to provide recall of trend data segments filtered according to selected parameters.

An amount-of-power used reception unit receives information about amounts of power used by a customer from a gateway, a first data generation unit which generates first data including information about charge rates for a unit of power for respective time spans, a second data generation unit which generates second data including information about amounts of power used by the customer for the respective time spans, and a third data generation unit which generates third data including information about index power charges for the customer for the respective time spans.

Abstract: A system is disclosed for managing waste services. The system may have a locating device configured to generate a signal indicative of a location of a service vehicle, a motion tracking device wearable by an management personnel of the service vehicle, and a controller in communication with the locating and motion tracking devices. The controller may be configured to determine based on the signal a proximity of the service vehicle to a target location at which the waste services are to be performed, and to monitor an activity of the management personnel via the motion tracking device when the proximity of the service vehicle is within a threshold proximity of the target location. The controller may also be configured to automatically flag the target location in memory as having been serviced based on the monitored activity of the management personnel.

Abstract: A method for scheduling wellbore construction activities includes entering a well plan into a computer. The well plan includes estimated start and stop times for a plurality of activities in a predetermined sequence. Progress of selected ones of the plurality of activities is measured during their performance. In the computer, expected ending time of at least one of the plurality of activities is recalculated based on progress thereof during that activity. In the computer, expected start and stop times are recalculated for each activity subsequent to the activity in progress based on the recalculated expected ending time. The recalculated start and stop times for each subsequent activity are displayed.

Abstract: A resource staffing manager is provided that manages resource staffing of project teams. A resource demand profile is provided including requirements for roles to be staffed for a project team and an allocated budget for staffing the project team. Based on the resource demand profile, the manager displays a project level graphical user interface that includes a pie chart and a donut chart. The pie chart includes a slice for each of the roles and the donut chart indicates the amount of the allocated budget remaining. Upon selection of a resource to be staffed to one of the roles, the manager updates the slice of the pie chart corresponding to the role to graphically indicate that the selected resource has been selected to be staffed to that role. Based on the selection of the resource, the manager updates the donut chart to indicate the amount of the allocated budget remaining.
