  • Patent number: 10091934
Abstract: A control system for a harvester having a crop cleaner for cleaning a cut crop. The control system includes a processor, a memory, and a human-machine interface. The processor is configured to receive an input corresponding to a desired cleaning level of the crop, monitor the actual cleaning level, and control the crop cleaner based on feedback from monitoring the actual cleaning level to move the cleaning level of the crop towards the desired cleaning level of the crop.

  • Patent number: 10094090
Abstract: A mining shovel including a base, a boom, a first member moveably coupled to the boom, a bucket, and a pivot actuator. The base includes a hoist drum for paying out and reeling in a hoist rope. The boom includes a first end coupled to the base and a second end opposite the first end. The hoist rope extends over the second end of the boom. The first member includes a first end and a second end. The bucket is pivotably coupled to the second end of the first member. The pivot actuator moves the bucket relative to the second end of the first member, and the pivot actuator includes a first end coupled to the first member.

  • Patent number: 10091938
Abstract: A toothed crushing disk for a grain processor includes teeth having a trailing tooth flank, which is a so-called tooth back, and a leading tooth flank, which is a so-called tooth face, on the surface of the teeth. The teeth have a wear protection zone in the region of the tooth back which is continuous or is divided into partial zones and has a wear resistance which is greater than that of the material of a base member of the toothed crushing disk. The base member has a tooth structure which determines the shape of the teeth and the wear protection zone is produced by using a high-energy beam method with the geometry of the tooth structure being substantially maintained. A method for producing a toothed crushing disk for a grain processor having teeth on the surface thereof is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10080327
Abstract: A drive system includes a first transmission, a second transmission and at least one flexible driving member. The first transmission is operably coupled to a first set of wheels to provide drive power to the first set of wheels responsive to engagement of the first transmission. The second transmission is operably coupled to a second set of wheels to provide drive power to the second set of wheels responsive to engagement of the second transmission. The at least one flexible driving member is operably coupled to a remote actuator and a drive shaft of the walk-behind outdoor power equipment device. The at least one flexible member selectively engages one of the first transmission or the second transmission to switch a walk-behind outdoor power equipment device between all wheel drive operation and another drive mode via the remote actuator.

  • Patent number: 10070588
Abstract: A gardening tool, such as a mower, includes a main body and a handle rotatably connected to the main body. The main body includes a motor. The handle includes a plurality of telescopic members slidably connected to each other. The mower further includes a operation assembly for being operated by a user to activate the motor and a control device for sending a control signal to enable or disable the operation of motor by the operation assembly.

  • Patent number: 10066359
Abstract: A coupler device for coupling an attachment to a mechanical arm of a machine or vehicle, comprising a main hitch body (2), an actuator (3) mounted to the main hitch body (2) and moveable relative to the main hitch body (2) and a front locking mechanism. The front locking mechanism comprises a first locking member (4) adapted to be pivoted by operation of the actuator (3) from an open position to a closed position to engage with a first pin or other means of an attachment to secure the attachment to the mechanical arm and a second locking member (6) provided on the main hitch body which is adapted to mount the actuator to the main hitch body when the first locking member is in its closed position such that the main hitch body prevents the first locking member (4) from pivoting into its open position.

  • Patent number: 10064322
Abstract: A compact tillage implement has a frame supported by front and rear frame wheels. A front rank is mounted to the frame between the wheels with respect to a direction of travel to move a front plurality of tools with respect to the frame from a retracted orientation to an extended orientation. A rear rank is mounted to the frame between the wheels with respect to the direction travel to move a rear plurality of tools with respect to the frame from a retracted orientation to an extended orientation. The rear rank is spaced behind the front rank along a reference line. The front and rear plurality of tools are movable with respect to the frame independently of the other of the front and rear plurality of tools while the frame is in working orientation in which the frame is at a substantially fixed pitch with respect to the ground.

  • Patent number: 10058034
Abstract: A combine harvester is provided that separates grain material from material other than grain using multiple processing areas, including a harvesting area, a feederhouse area, a threshing area, a cleaning area, and a grain delivery area. In a location at or prior to entering one of the processing areas, the material may be collected and held until a collection threshold is reached. Once it is determined that the collection threshold is reached, the material forming a first group of material may be transported from the location to the processing area or a subsequent processing area. The first group of material is transported from the location to the processing area or the subsequent processing area substantially simultaneously and thus simulates the gathering of a large amount of crop material even when small plots are involved. In this way, reduced cycle times may be achieved, and the efficiency benefits of large-plot harvesting may be extended to small-plot applications.

  • Patent number: 10060100
Abstract: A ground engaging tooth assembly for a cutting edge of a ground engaging implement may include an adapter and a ground engaging tip. The adapter may have a forward extending adapter nose having an inverted or reverse keystone-shaped contour, with the ground engaging tip having a nose cavity for receiving the adapter nose and exterior surfaces having complementary shapes to the adapter nose. The adapter nose and an adapter cavity of the tip may also be configured with complimentary surfaces that increase retention between the adapter nose and the tip when downward forces are applied to the tip. In other embodiments, the surfaces of the tip may include reliefs extending inwardly into the body of the tip to reduce weight and facilitate penetration of the tip into work material as wear material wears away from a front edge of the tip.
