Abstract: A protective sports helmet that includes a chin strap system that allows for rapid, one-handed adjustment of a chin strap assembly by the player while he/she is wearing the helmet is provided. The chin strap assembly includes a protective chin cup and a pair of straps extending from opposed sides of the chin cup and having a plurality of securing elements. The assembly also includes a pair of adjustable connectors affixed to the helmet and that include a central opening that receives an extent of the strap and a lever that engages a portion of the securing elements. The adjustable connector allows movement of the strap in a first direction, and prevents movement of the strap in a second direction when the lever is engaged with at least one of the securing elements. The adjustable connector allows movement of the strap in both the first and second directions when the lever is not engaged with the securing elements.

  • Patent number: 11686023
Abstract: A method for making an elasticised yarn includes feeding a roving made of a cotton-based natural fibre at a weight percentage of at least 50% and having a linear mass density between 0.1 Nm and 50 Nm, to a stretching unit, and extracting it from the stretching unit at a speed higher than the unwinding speed. The stretched roving and an elastic fibre are jointly pulled through an overlapping unit, forming a spool of the elasticised yarn. The elastic fibre includes a natural rubber containing more than 80% polyisoprene 1,4-cis. The elastic fibre also includes sulphur as a vulcanization agent; a vulcanization accelerator and a vulcanization activator; an anti-tacking agent; an antioxidant agent; and a stabilisation agent. The elastic fibre is obtained by longitudinally cutting a longitudinally cut flat yarn made of the natural rubber, to attain a linear mass density between 50 dtex and 1000 dtex.

  • Patent number: 11668027
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a weaving method of a weft-backed jacquard fabric with color shading effects and belongs to the technical field of weaving methods. In a single-warp and double-weft structure with a weft yarn arrangement ratio of Wefts A and Wefts B of 2:1, by designing two groups of face weaves and backing weaves and corresponding backed points and using a shaded strengthening method, two color shading effects of color shading of the Wefts A and mixed color shading of the Wefts A and the Wefts B of the fabric are achieved. A maximum number of shaded weaves is [R/N(6R?2J2?J1?3)+2], and a grade number of shaded color is less than or equal to the maximum number of the shaded weaves. The designed fabric meets the covering requirements and can be mass produced.

  • Patent number: 11591722
Abstract: A woven fabric for use in a machine to produce a fiber web, such as a tissue fiber web. A paper side of the fabric has warp yarns and weft yarns interwoven in a weave pattern, and twill lines, each formed by neighboring warp yarn flotations. Each warp yarn flotation of the weave pattern that contributes to the formation of the twill lines passes over a first weft yarn, which passes over a first warp yarn that directly neighbors the warp yarn flotation on a first side and passes below a second warp yarn that directly neighbors the warp yarn flotation on a second side opposite the first side. The warp yarn flotation also passes over a second weft yarn that directly neighbors the first weft yarn, and the second weft yarn passes below the first warp yarn and over the second warp yarn.
