  • Patent number: 10990630
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating search results based on non-linguistic tokens are disclosed. In embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises: mapping, by a computing device, a non-linguistic token to documents during indexing based on associations in a token database between the non-linguistic token and variations of a multi-word term; receiving, by the computing device, the multi-word term in a search query; determining, by the computing device, the non-linguistic token associated with the multi-word term using the token database; and generating, by the computing device, search results based on the multi-word term and the non-linguistic token.

  • Patent number: 10901995
Abstract: A computer-implemented method according to one embodiment includes receiving a search request. Additionally, the method includes transparently loading a data storage cartridge into a data storage drive of a data storage library. Further, the method includes determining search results, utilizing the data storage cartridge and the data storage drive. Further still, the method includes returning the search results.

  • Patent number: 10838941
Abstract: Database systems and related methods are provided for creating database records in response to submitted media content, such as an image. One exemplary method involves a server receiving an image from a client device coupled to a network, analyzing the image at the server to characterize one or more attributes of the image, automatically populating one or more fields of a data record corresponding to the image to reflect the characterized one or more attributes of the image, and storing the data record in a database coupled to the server. In one or more exemplary embodiments, metadata and validation rules associated with a database object type are utilized to automatically populate fields of the new record in conjunction with the characterized image attributes.

  • Patent number: 10789275
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine a first set of content items to be sent to a computing device of a user. A token is generated based at least in part on the first set of content items, the token being encoded with information for tracking content items sent to the computing device of the user. Data corresponding to the set of content items and the token is sent to the computing device of the user.

  • Patent number: 6223301
Abstract: A computer system includes memory modules, a central processing unit and a memory controller. The memory controller is configured to access the memory modules in response to interaction with the central processing unit and define a fault tolerant memory array with the memory modules. Each memory module stores first data represented by second data stored by the other memory modules.

  • Patent number: 5448724
Abstract: In a data processing system formed of a plurality of nodes each connected to networks, each node operates either as a manager or as an agent. The manager supervises information included in the agents which are managed by the manager itself. A super manager is connected to the network for recognizing the node which operates as the manager which performs double supervision of the information in the agents with the manager. The super manager has a receiving unit for receiving information to be supervised by the node which operates as the manager, a detecting unit for detecting a failure of the node which operates as the manager, and a supervising unit for specifying information to be supervised by the faulty manager in accordance with information received by the receiving unit when the detecting unit detects the failure. The super manager supervises the object information to be supervised instead of the manager when the manager fails.

  • Patent number: 5051999
Abstract: A paging receiver receiving message information having one of a plurality of (BCH) code word structures has a programmable error correcting apparatus for correcting bit errors within the message information. The programmable error correcting apparatus may be configured in response to identifying a signalling system and the code word structure corresponding to ther signalling system, or in response to changes in the code word structure within the message. A simplified error correcting apparatus may correct a single bit error within a code word structure. The programamble error correcting apparatus is capable of correcting any two bit error combination within the code word structure and contains sequential and combinational logic circuits. The programmable error correcting apparatus is integrated together with a microprocessor on a monolithic integrated circuit.
