Abstract: The present invention provides a motor comprising: a shaft; a rotor coupled to the shaft; a stator arranged on the outer side of the rotor; and a terminal arranged on the stator. The stator comprises: a stator core; an insulator coupled to the stator core; and a coil wound on the insulator, wherein the insulator comprises a body on which the coil is wound, and a connector connected to the body. The terminal comprises: an extension arranged in the circumferential direction of the insulator, a pin portion at an end of the extension, and a hook portion at the opposite end of the extension. The coil comprises one continuous wire. The body comprises a first body and a second body, the coil being wound on the first body, passing through the hook portion, and wound on the second body. The hook portion is electrically connected to a portion of the coil, wherein the portion passes through the hook portion.
Abstract: A children's toy with capacitive touch interactivity. The children's toy generally includes a user input overlay panel and one or more capacitive touch sensors. The overlay panel may be formed from a capacitive touch conductive natural organic material such as wood. The toy can be shaped and ornamented to resemble a musical instrument and configured to play music in response to user input applied to the user input overlay panel and sensed by the capacitive touch sensors.

Abstract: A reduced volume drumhead has a layer of porous material and a ring of compressible material. The ring of compressible material is fixed to the underside of the layer of porous material in a substantially centered or coaxial position with the porous material stretched across a hoop in tension. The ring may be formed of a foam or similar material with compressibility and stretchability under tension and defines an open central area of the drumhead for striking. The ring may be formed of segments and thus include one or more circumferential breaks with spacing. The drumhead provides natural tonal characteristics and has a natural feel when struck.

Abstract: A simulated musical string instrument formed of plural shaped sheets of rigid material, such as cardboard. There is a top sheet forming a top surface of the simulated string instrument body, and a bottom sheet forming a bottom surface, and multiple sheets between. A simulated fingerboard is attached to the top surface. The top sheet and fingerboard gets stickers that show parts of the simulated string instrument body including openings and notes. There is also a simulated bow guide and a simulated bow.
Abstract: An apparatus for storing, organizing and displaying picks for a stringed musical instrument includes a disc having a top, bottom, center and a circumference, and a plurality of slots extending radially between the center and circumference. Each slot is configured to receive and securely hold a musical instrument pick through the top of the disc, and a protrusion at the center of the top of the disc is configured to be pushed by a finger of a user of the apparatus to retrieve a pick from each of the plurality of slots.
Abstract: An apparatus for playing chords, scales and/or intervals on a musical instrument for visually-impaired people is provided. The apparatus can have a substantially rectangular card with multiple indicators attached to the card that a visually-impaired person can play all chords, intervals and scales on a piano with a dedicated card having the chord or scale configuration by aligning the indicators to any piano key and finding the other keys of the same chord or scale on the piano by aligning the other indicators.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a shield device configured to fit over the mouthpiece of a wind instrument to block droplets and aerosols released by a performer using the instrument. The shield device receives and blocks germs and pathogens in droplets and aerosols and prevents them from spreading. The shield device does not interfere with the functionality and operation of the instrument and is configured to be positioned in front of the nose and mouth of a performer at a distance of up to a few inches.

Abstract: A string mount system and method of installing guitar strings in an acoustic guitar. The string mount system includes a tonebar having a rod including a length extending from a first terminating end to a second terminating end. The tonebar includes a constant diameter extending along the length of the rod and the constant diameter is less than an inner diameter ball end of each string in a set guitar strings. The rod is located in a hole in each of the ball ends. The tonebar, with the mounted strings, is pulled against a bridge plate of the guitar. The strings are tuned to pitch. The strings are acoustically coupled to the bridge plate and to the sound board to vibrate the soundboard to produce acoustically amplified string tones.

The percussive performance data represents one or more impact waveforms of one or more hits on a performance surface. The one or more impact waveforms are analysed. The analysing comprises: (i) identifying one or more characteristics of the one or more impact waveforms; (ii) classifying the one or more hits as one or more percussive hit-types based on the one or more characteristics; and (iii) evaluating the one or more percussive hit-types against performance target data.
