Abstract: A method for purchasing an item using a mobile device is provided. The method includes but is not limited to inputting identification information into the mobile device which identifies the item for purchase and generating an order for the item identified by the identification information. Abstract: Embodiments provide a method and a system for conducting merchant-industry mapping based on ambient noise. The method includes receiving a payment transaction request and an audio signal comprising ambient noise in surrounding of a merchant terminal of a merchant. The ambient noise is recorded by the merchant terminal and includes a plurality of sounds. The method includes determining whether the merchant is an aggregated merchant or a non-aggregated merchant. The method includes processing the ambient noise to determine a type of the merchant upon determining that the merchant is the non-aggregated merchant. The method includes mapping the merchant to an industry from a plurality of industries available in the server system based on the type of the merchant. The method further includes storing the mapping of the industry and the merchant in a database associated with the server system.

Abstract: The techniques herein include an inquiry controller determining whether timing criteria have been met for sending an inquiry to a particular user account. In response to determining that the timing criteria for sending an inquiry to the particular user account is satisfied, the inquiry is sent to and received by a particular user device associated with the particular user account. When a response is received, a response analyzer analyzes it and selects a first follow-up action, with associated first digital content, for the system to perform for the particular user account based on the analysis. The chosen action may include automatically creating a calendar item in a digital calendar associated with the user account, updating a digital task list for the user account, generating and transmitting a second inquiry to the particular user device, and the like. The follow-up action is then performed.

Abstract: A system is provided that controls an industrial vehicle responsive to encountering working environment tags. The system comprises a transceiver and a tag reader mounted on the industrial vehicle. Also, the system comprises an information processing device communicably coupled to the transceiver and the tag reader. The information processing device comprises a processor in data communication with memory. In this regard, the processor is programmed to receive an identifier of a tag detected by the tag reader while the industrial vehicle is being operated within a work environment, and access electronically, a predetermined action based upon the identifier of the detected tag. The processor is further programmed to communicate information across a vehicle network bus to at least one electronic component of the industrial vehicle to perform the predetermined action, wherein the predetermined action automatically modifies a working state of the industrial vehicle.

The present invention is configured to receive, via an image capturing device associated with a point-of-sale system of a merchant, a digital image of a payment instrument; extract, using optical character recognition, payment instrument data from the payment instrument; receive one or more authentication credentials from the user to endorse the payment instrument; determine an authentication level of the user based on at least receiving the one or more authentication credentials from the user; determine whether the authentication level of the user meets an authentication requirement level associated with the processing of the payment instrument; and process, in real-time, the payment instrument.

Abstract: Technologies for enhancing credit transactions include a point of sale computing system. The point of sale computing system receives payment vehicle data for a credit transaction associated with a purchase event. The point of sale computing system determines whether the credit transaction is an alternate routing candidate. The point of sale computing system routes an authorization request message to an issuer computing system via a payment card network in response to a determination that the credit transaction is not an alternate routing candidate. Alternatively, the point of sale computing system routes the authorization request message directly to the issuer computing system via a PIN debit network in response to a determination that the credit transaction is an alternate routing candidate. A corresponding authorization response message is received by the point of sale computing system via the payment card network or the PIN debit network. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Responsive to receiving a request from an entity, the online agricultural system determines an optimal transaction for the entity, such as a price for selling a crop product, an available crop product for purchase, or a transportation opportunity to transport a crop product.

Abstract: In electronic financial transactions a receiver, or targeted recipient of funds, provides account information to a transmitter, or sender of funds. The transmitter initiates a push of funds from a transmitter funding source to the receiver's funding source processor. In some embodiments the receiver provides a payment card, similar to a credit card, which is read by an electronic device of the transmitter, such as a smart phone. In some embodiments, the receiver provides the account information by way of a bar code, such as a QR code, which is scanned and read by the transmitter's electronic device.

Abstract: An analysis of the scans is performed to determine whether the selected item was moved from the back room to the shelf, then returned from the shelf to the back room. The analysis also determines a re-bin time when the selected product was returned to the back room. An adjustment to the PI is blocked when last PI adjustment time is later than the re-bin time. An adjustment to the PI is also blocked when an audit indicator is received at the interface indicating that the retail store is under an audit. An adjusted PI value is determined when the analysis indicates that the selected item was moved from the back room to the shelf, then returned from the shelf, the adjusted PI value being at least one more than the shelf capacity value.

Abstract: Techniques for community-based spend analysis in a software as a service computing environment are disclosed. The techniques leverage information available about community spend to provide new insights into a particular customer's spend. The new insights result from receiving a request for an optimization recommendation, importing spend data comprising a plurality of spend data lines, and using a trained deep learning classifier to classify the spend data lines in a set of standard spend categories to compute a first and second aggregate of monetary amounts. An optimization recommendation is sent to the customer based on a comparison of the first and second aggregate of monetary amounts is sent to a particular customer.
