  • Patent number: 11360548
Abstract: A system for displaying an image of a virtual space on a display obtains detection data from position detection sensors, the position detection sensors including a position detection sensor attached to a user. The system calculates a distance between a pair of the position detection sensors based on the detection data, and sets, based on the distance, a boundary for determining a motion of the user. The system determines, when the motion of the user occurs, whether a positional relationship between one of the position detection sensors and the boundary satisfies a condition, and, responsive to the positional relationship satisfying the condition, executes an action corresponding to the motion of the user in the virtual space.

  • Patent number: 11340701
Abstract: Machine learning systems and methods that learn glare, and thus determine gaze direction in a manner more resilient to the effects of glare on input images. The machine learning systems have an isolated representation of glare, e.g., information on the locations of glare points in an image, as an explicit input, in addition to the image itself. In this manner, the machine learning systems explicitly consider glare while making a determination of gaze direction, thus producing more accurate results for images containing glare.

  • Patent number: 11327600
Abstract: In an electronic device, a storage device registers registered data and a name of the registered data in association with a number of a one-touch key. A control device functions as a detector, a controller, and a releaser. When an operation device receives a request for registration of new registered data, the detector detects the number of the one-touch key satisfying a release condition. The controller displays the number of the one-touch key satisfying the condition in association with the name of the registered data corresponding to the number on a display device. The releaser registers data corresponding to a selected number of a one-touch key among numbers of one-touch keys satisfying the condition and a name of the registered data, in association with an unregistered number of a one-touch key, and releases a one-touch key having a number assigned to the registered data and the name of the data.

  • Patent number: 11307704
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that may be implemented to share digital touch data (e.g., user finger touch data, pen or stylus touch data, etc.) between two or more touch controllers that are coupled to separate respective touch-sensing segments of a common touchscreen display device. The shared digital touch data may correspond to (and be derived from) analog user touch signals received within a defined margin area of each touch-sensing layer segment that lies adjacent to a middle boundary region of the touchscreen display. Each touch controller may accurately determine or compute the user touch intent for a touch data map of its corresponding touch-sensing layer segment after resolving any existing boundary conflict between digital touch data that corresponds to adjacent touch sensor segments. An operating system (OS) executing on a host programmable integrated circuit may then reconstruct and provide the full touch data map for the entire touchscreen display device.
