Abstract: Methods executed by a processor of computing device for launching a selected application on a computing device are disclosed. Various embodiments may include authorizing a user based on a fingerprint of a finger detected on a fingerprint sensor portion of a touchscreen display matching a fingerprint of an authorized user of the computing device, determining a selected application installed on the computing device from a selective engagement of the finger on the touchscreen display, continuous from the fingerprint sensor portion and unlocking the selected application in response to the selective engagement of the finger on the touchscreen display. In some embodiments, selection of an application may be based a continuous swipe movement by the finger on the touchscreen display from the fingerprint sensor portion toward an icon on the touchscreen display representing the selected application.

Abstract: Method of generating customized avatars based on location information includes processor receiving from first client device location information including a location of the first client device. Processor causes a status interface to be displayed on first client device that includes selectable location items corresponding to locations based on the location information. Processor receives a selection from first client device of first selectable location item and causes avatar selection interface to be displayed on first client device that includes versions of first avatar performing actions related to the first selectable location item. Processor receives selection of first selectable version of the first avatar and generates a map interface that includes a map display based on the location information and the first selectable version of the first avatar. Abstract: The iSlidesMobile system and methods adds POWERPOINT functionalities for text objects and numerical data be inserted (sent), edited, and deleted remotely from mobile devices directly into POWERPOINT Slide Show mode. In brief, POWERPOINT presenters a) control their POWERPOINT presentation through starting and ending presentations, moving slides forward or back, and skipping slides forward or back; and b) edit the interactive slides (iSlides) included in the POWERPOINT presentation via adding, editing, and removing text objects; and perform interactive events for audience members voluntarily participation. Additionally, audience members a) follow intuitively the presentation since slides titles are listed on the mobile's screen, and b) voluntarily participate in the edition of the iSlides that the presenter has on POWERPOINT Slide Show display via sending, editing, and deleting own text objects as well as sending numerical data.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to techniques for interacting with a hierarchical video segmentation using a video timeline. In some embodiments, the finest level of a hierarchical segmentation identifies the smallest interaction unit of a video—semantically defined video segments of unequal duration called clip atoms, and higher levels cluster the clip atoms into coarser sets of video segments. A presented video timeline is segmented based on one of the levels, and one or more segments are selected through interactions with the video timeline. For example, a click or tap on a video segment or a drag operation dragging along the timeline snaps selection boundaries to corresponding segment boundaries defined by the level. Navigating to a different level of the hierarchy transforms the selection into coarser or finer video segments defined by the level. Any operation can be performed on selected video segments, including playing back, trimming, or editing.

Abstract: Systems and methods relate to display of insights, including a method including: causing a user display to display a graphical user interface (GUI) that enables a user to select a time range and a single digital display as a locale; and causing, based on the user selecting the time range and the single digital display as the locale, the user display to display, on the GUI, a list of a plurality of media content that have been displayed on the single digital display, each of the plurality of media content being ordered according to analysis insight for the single digital display selected and the time range selected. Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables narration of occurrences in a telecommunications soft client operating in a GUI-less mode. In a particular embodiment, a method includes, in a user system, operating the telecommunications soft client in a first mode. In the first mode, the user system does not present a GUI to a user for the telecommunications soft client. A screen reader application is also executing on the user system. While in the first mode, the method includes audibly describing a first occurrence for the telecommunications soft client and receiving global user input into the telecommunications soft client. The screen reader application describes a second occurrence for a first application executing, and displaying an application window, on the user system.

Abstract: A graphic device for computer displays (for example, touchscreen style computer displays) with multiple independently operable active areas, each of which can be operated to change a different dimensions. In some embodiments, the dimensions correspond to spatial dimensions in which a selected object in the display can be moved. In some embodiments, the dimensions correspond to spatial dimensions in which the display can be scrolled. In one embodiment, a software application executed by a processor of a telecommunications device identifies a subset of contacts selected at least in part by a user of the telecommunications device. The software application causes display of a first portion of graphical identifiers associated with a first portion of the subset of contacts along a first path on a display of the telecommunications device about an axis positioned external to the display of the telecommunications device. Abstract: Systems and methods for generating feedback for a webpage based on visual interactions on the webpage are provided. In example embodiments, a user interface (UI) displaying the webpage is presented. The system receives an indication of a selection of an edit trigger and configures the webpage to receive feedback (e.g., one or more user inputs applied to webpage) from the user in response. The user inputs are received, whereby each user input is associated with an identifier of the webpage and coordinates of a location within the webpage. The system processes the user inputs including generating a feedback preview that displays each of the user inputs organized based on a corresponding feedback type. The feedback preview is displayed to the user for approval. Approval of at least a portion of the feedback on the feedback preview will cause the approved feedback to be transmitted to a corresponding entity.

The augmented reality component detects collision of the touchless user selectable element with an object from the person image, such as a hand object, and, in response, triggers a predetermined action, such as, for example, starting or stopping recording of the output of a digital image sensor or capturing a still image of the output of a digital image sensor.

Abstract: A first interface, such as a set of search results, is presented that includes first data in a first region and second data in a second region. Presented data may include images, text, or other information associated with items available for purchase. User input indicating a portion of the first data is received. In response to the user input, third data that is related to the indicated portion of the first data is determined. The third data is presented in the first region of the interface in place of the first data. Further input to the first region may return the first data to view. As a result, a user may view the third data within the first interface without navigating to a separate interface. Selection of a navigational link associated with the third data may navigate to a portion of a subsequent interface where the third data is presented.
