  • Patent number: 8100673
Abstract: A cooling fan (1) includes a fan housing (10), a stator (20), a rotor (30) and a bearing assembly (40). A tube (111) extends upwardly from a central portion of the fan housing. The stator is mounted around the tube. The bearing assembly includes a ball bearing (333) and a sleeve bearing (335) received in two ends of the tube, respectively. The rotor has a shaft (336) extending into and roratably supported by the bearing assembly. An elastic element (332) is arranged on the ball bearing to provide a pressing force on the ball bearing toward the sleeve bearing. An oil retaining element (339) is arranged around a bottom end of the shaft and spaced from the shaft. The oil retaining element is attached to the sleeve bearing to provide oil for the sleeve bearing.

  • Patent number: 8096787
Abstract: An axial piston fluid engine having single-acting cylinders incorporating swivel-joint attachment of the cylinders to rotary control valves wherein straight-line piston movement is established for the elimination of side forces on the pistons. The pistons and the control valves are operatively connected to a common wobble drive member and arranged in geometry of lever positions to coactively time the drive fluid into and out of the cylinders intermittently.

  • Patent number: 8096784
Abstract: A bi-directional continuous peristaltic micro-pump is described. The micro-pump comprises: a substrate, an actuating mechanism and a fluid channel. The actuating mechanism comprises: a first slanted membrane the thickness of which increases progressively from left to right, a first chamber formed between the first slanted membrane and the substrate; and a second slanted membrane, the thickness of which decreases progressively from left to right, the second slanted membrane being located to the first slanted membrane's right side and parallel to the first slanted membrane with a space between the two membranes, a second chamber formed between the second slanted membrane and the substrate. By inflating the first chamber and the second chamber, the first slanted membrane and the second slanted membrane generate a continuous sweeping motion to force the working fluid to flow.

  • Patent number: 8079298
Abstract: A hydraulic mechanism including a cylinder block having radial pistons and mounted to rotate in a stationary casing, and a distribution cover that forms a portion of the casing that has feed and discharge ducts that extend between an outside face and inside of face of the cover. The internal distributor has distribution ducts that are selectively connected to the feed and discharge ducts that open out into a distribution face that is perpendicular to the axis of rotation and that is disposed against the communication face of the cylinder block so as to cause the distribution ducts to communicate with the cylinder ducts. In a zone defined radially outwards by end-wall portions of the cylinders, a transverse face of the cylinder block is provided with an axial setback in which at least a portion of the distributor is disposed.

  • Patent number: 8066492
Abstract: A drive device (2) for the oil pump (6) of a motor vehicle automatic transmission, in which the oil pump (6) on the one hand can be coupled to the drive motor by way of an overrunning clutch (34) and on the other hand is drivingly connected to an auxiliary electric motor (22), which is powered by the on-board power supply of the motor vehicle. The electric motor (22) is arranged outside of the pump housing (8) and is drivingly connected to a driven pump impeller wheel (ring gear 10) that is arranged in the pump housing via a non-rotatable connection.

  • Patent number: 8043077
Abstract: A micropump that includes: a tube frame including an elastic tube, and a tube guide groove; a cam drive wheel which moves in response to a motor that can be rotated in forward and reverse directions; a first cam is provided with a finger depression section at a circumferential portion thereof; a second cam is provided with a finger depression section at a circumferential portion thereof; and a plurality of fingers provided between the tube and the respective finger depression sections of the first and second cams. The micropump can be in a first state of continuously feeding a fluid by when the first cam is rotated in the forward direction, the first cam pushing and rotating the second cam in the same direction, a second state of rotating only the first cam in the reverse direction, and a third state of stopping the first cam from rotating.
