Responsive to a determination that the variable-speed indoor circulation fan is operating at the minimum speed and the relative humidity of the enclosed space is above the pre-determined threshold, the controller signals the damper to move to the open position.

When the duct elbow is fit into the register access cavity, air flow from the ductwork is routed into the entrance aperture and directed out of the exit aperture of the duct elbow, while the cover plate substantially blocks air flow around the duct elbow.
