Patent number: 11959377Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for isolation detection. In one implementation, recorded data is obtained. The recorded data includes radial acoustic waves transmitted and received using a radial sensor of an acoustic logging tool deployed in a wellbore. Clockwise waves are separated from counterclockwise waves by converting the recorded data from a time domain to a frequency domain. The clockwise waves are shifted into shifted clockwise waves, and the counterclockwise waves are shifted into a shifted counterclockwise waves. A forward wave is generated by combining the shifted clockwise waves, and a reflected wave is generated by combining the shifted counterclockwise waves. One or more isolation regions are identified in the wellbore using the forward wave and the reflected wave.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2020Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignees: CONOCOPHILLIPS COMPANYInventors: Geoff Steel, Mark Walsh, Stephen John Mayo

Patent number: 11950910Abstract: Valence states comprise physical states associated with emotional reaction to one or more events. Users may want to alter their reaction during such valence states (improve performance, reduce stress or anxiety, etc.). Physiological responses of a user wearing a valence state monitor may be recorded during waking life. When a physiological response associated with a valence state is determined, the valence state monitor may produce one or more cues comprising sounds, lights, haptic feedback, and/or electric shock, etc. During sleep, physiological responses of the may be used to determine the user is entering a dream phase (REM or N2) and, during such periods the cue and/or additional cues may be administered such that the user's memory is triggered to prime an associative thought of the valence experience while dreaming. By priming an associative thought during sleep, the user may better work through and adapt to various valence experiences while awake.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2019Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Proactive Life Inc.Inventors: Daniel Gartenberg, Daniel Micah Roberts, Ram Nick Talwar

Patent number: 11928945Abstract: The Active Shooter Response Capability (ASRC) integrates the ASRC application software, heads-up-display (HUD) smart glasses, ASRC processor/transmitter/controller (PTC) and antennas, with either an existing or ASRC provided CCTV/video surveillance, gunshot detection system (GDS), and loudspeaker (1MC). The PTC provides connectivity for multiple devices to accommodate dedicated processing for multiple response teams. ASRC system enables real-time situation awareness providing first responders the ability to visually locate and track an active shooter while executing a breach entry into the scene. When first responders approach the site of a reported active shooter or gunshot detection system alert of gunshot, the ASRC app is accessed on the squad car onboard computer or optional ASRC tablet which remotely syncs with the facility's PTC. This interaction enables the scroll thru each CCTV/Surveillance camera view to locate and lock-on/auto track the shooters movements.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2022Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Inventor: George Bacon Brown

Patent number: 11922331Abstract: Systems and methods for machine-learning-based aircraft icing prediction use supervised and unsupervised learning to process real-time environmental data, such as onboard measurements of outside air temperature and dew point, to predict a risk of icing and determine whether to issue an icing risk alert to an onboard crewmember or a remote operator, and/or to recommend an icing avoidance maneuver. The systems and methods can use reinforcement learning to generate a confidence metric in the predicted risk of icing, to determine a time or distance to predicting icing, and/or to not issue an alert or recommend a maneuver in consideration of historical data in a “library of learning” and/or other flight data such as airspeed, altitude, time of year, and weather conditions. The predictive systems and methods are low-cost and low-power, do not require onboard weather radar, and can be effective for use in smaller aircraft that are completely icing-intolerant.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2020Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: NORTHROP GRUMMAN SYSTEMS CORPORATIONInventors: Nathan D.
