  • Patent number: 4470211
Abstract: The thrust coupling has a thrust frame which can be readily coupled to the underside of a vehicle. The thrust frame is pivotally mounted on a hitching device on the rear of the vehicle and is suspended at the front of the vehicle via chains. In addition, an adjustable guide rod is provided to effect centering of the thrust frame at the front of the vehicle. The thrust frame can be raised and lowered at the front end of the vehicle via the chains and can be laterally centered via the guide rod. Vertical motion of the thrust frame at the front end can be effected from the driver's seat.

  • Patent number: 4448124
Abstract: Described is a cylinder type screen printing machine wherein the paper sheet discharge table is divided into a forward belt table of a shorter length and a rear belt table of a longer length. The rear belt table is connected to the forward belt table by a hinge so as to swing down relative to said forward belt table for retreating towards below. When the rear belt table is swung down, a wide space may be provided below the screen.

  • Patent number: 4439938
Abstract: A coupling system includes a connecting assembly 4 having two upwardly facing critically angled U-shaped lifting forks mounted at the upper ends of its sides. A bucket 2 has two transversely spaced locating members 6 and 8 defining a central profiled portion 10. Two co-linear transverse pins 12 are mounted at the top of the portion 10, and a central recess 18 is formed in the profiled portion 10. An end member 22 having an aperture 24 therein is located at the base of the recess 18. A latch bar 34 and an operating cylinder 36 are mounted on the assembly 4, and are dimensioned to fit in the recess 18.In operation, the assembly 4 is tilted forwardly and advanced until the lifting pins 12 enter the forks 32. The assembly 4 is then tilted backwards and edged forwardly until the cylinder 36 and the latch bar 34 enter the recess 18. The cylinder 36 is then operated to advance the latch bar 34 into the aperture 24 to couple together the bucket 2 and the assembly 4.

  • Patent number: 4437402
Abstract: To permit, selectively, continuous printing, for example for wallpaper, wrapping or gift wrap paper, plastic or other foils continuously coated wth adhesive or the like, while additionally permitting use of the machine for printing on substrates, such as paper, which have margins, the plate cylinders, or the web between the plate cylinders can be respectively so aligned or offset with respect to each other that the position of a groove (5, 6) on one plate cylinder, which would result in an unprinted strip of paper, can have printing information, or adhesive or the like applied thereto by a plate on another printing station or, selectively, the other printing station may have its plate adjusted to provide printing information in a second color over the printed information applied by the first plate cylinder. The system can be expanded with multiple cylinders, and may be applied to offset, direct lithographic, raised letter, flexo graphic printing, and the like.

  • Patent number: 4192232
Abstract: In an electrostatic image recording apparatus employing a series of recording styluses for forming a latent image on an electrostatic image recording drum, an over-discharge is conducted either by applying a very high voltage to the recording styluses or by first subjecting the drum to a pre-charge in one polarity and then forming the latent image on the drum by an over-discharge in the opposite polarity. Pre-charging of the drum enhances the effect of the subsequent discharging and permits over-discharge to be conducted with a lower voltage applied to the recording styluses than would otherwise be possible.
