Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods are provided to prevent mismatches in processing and settings related to print media. A print manager device includes a media print information storage storing media print information, which is information relating image processing information used to generate print data for a specific print medium with print settings information used to print on the print medium. The image processing information and the print settings information are relationally stored to each printer configured to print based on the print data according to the print settings information. A processor that controls communication. The processor can send the image processing information stored in the media print information storage relationally to a print medium specified by media selection information to an image processing device that generates print data and can send the print settings information stored in the media print information storage to the printer.

Abstract: A print processing system includes an image processing apparatus configured to execute print processing, and a client apparatus that includes a class driver configured to convert data as a target of the print processing into print data and to transmit a printing command for causing the image processing apparatus to execute the print processing by using a standard function to the image processing apparatus together with the print data, wherein the client apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire print setting information that specifies a print setting included in the image processing apparatus from the image processing apparatus via the class driver, a display unit configured to display a print setting screen based on the print setting information acquired by the acquisition unit, and a transmission unit configured to transmit the print setting information about a print setting selected by a user on the print setting screen.

Abstract: Nested email delivery substitutes a control token into an recipient email address, and uses the result as the username in email to a domain of a secure processing server. At the secure processing server, the recipient email address is extracted, control token identified, and any attachments processed and delivered based on the control token. The secure processing server may be an internet-based secure fax server and attachments processed as native documents for high-resolution, color faxing. Delivery may also be via certified email, or native documents may be processed into workspace storage or through other configured processing. Multiple tokens may be combined to trigger multiple actions.

Abstract: Method(s) and apparatus(es) relate to notification to pick-up a printed document (“document”). In a method, stored in a cloud computing system are: at least one operation image of the document; operation metadata associated with scanning or printing; and a user identity. A snap-notify function readies a camera to store a photo image and associated metadata. The photo image and metadata, uploaded from the mobile device to the cloud computing system, is compared by a backend application. The photo metadata is compared with data entries to obtain a match to the operation metadata. The photo image stored in relation to the photo metadata matching the operation metadata is retrieved. The photo image is compared to the operation image, and, for a match thereof to at least a threshold percentage, the cloud computing system instructs the multifunction printer to send a confidential notification for the user identity to pick up the document.

Abstract: A cloud-based document scanning system includes a cloud computing platform having a cloud computing application and a cloud storage system. The system further includes a scanning device communicatively coupled over a network to the cloud computing platform, the scanning device configured to: accept a set of documents; generate a set of digital image files corresponding to the set of documents; store the set of digital image files; and upload the set of digital image files directly to the cloud storage system. Upon receiving a request from the scanning device, the cloud computing application is configured to: access the set of digital image files; apply image processing operations to the set of digital image files in accordance with a plurality of image processing parameters, generate a portable document format document based on the processed image files, and send the portable document format document to a user-selected destination.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and a Multi-Function Printer (MFP) for executing multiple jobs. The MFP receives a single request comprising one or more inputs for executing a plurality of jobs. Also, one or more setting parameters for each job is received. The MFP stores the one or more inputs in a memory associated with the MFP and executes the plurality of jobs. The plurality of jobs is executed such that a job subsequent to a previously executed job, is executed continuously without receiving user inputs after completion of the previously executed job. Also, the one or more setting parameters are applied while executing to corresponding jobs.

A first network connects first and second information processing apparatuses to an external apparatus. The respective UI objects includes a visual representation of an aggregate interest level for each item during the first time period as compared to a threshold interest level for each item. While displaying the respective UI objects, the method includes receiving a first indication that a second user is modifying ordering information for a first item and updating a first UI object for the first item to indicate that the second user is modifying ordering information for the first item.

Abstract: A system and method for determining where to send a document from information printed on the document includes a scanner configured to scan a document, and a processor configured to use optical character recognition on the scanned document to determine recipient contact information. The processor generates a user-selectable list of one or more of the determined recipients and receives a user selection of one or more recipients to receive the document. The processor then transmits the document to the selected recipients using a modality suitable to the recipient's contact information, which includes faxing the document to the recipient when the recipient's contact information is a fax number, emailing the document to the recipient when the recipient's contact information is an email address, and transmitting the document when the recipient is a network file server.
