  • Patent number: 11877332
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus are disclosed for user equipment and network nodes. An example method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes the UE detecting a failure relating to a connection between the UE and a Master Cell Group (MCG). The UE provides, to a master node via a Secondary Cell Group, SCG, a first message relating to the detected failure. The UE receives, from the master node via the SCG, a second message indicating to the UE to perform a connection reconfiguration. An example method performed by the master node includes the master node receiving, from the UE via the SCG, the first message including information relating to the detected failure of the connection between the UE and the MCG. The master node determines, based on the first message and a user equipment context, to perform a connection reconfiguration. The master node provides, to the UE via the SCG, the second message indicating to perform the connection reconfiguration.

  • Patent number: 11849474
Abstract: Embodiments include methods for determining intermodulation distortion (IMD) present in an uplink channel received by a network node in a wireless communication network. Such embodiments include, for each of a plurality of time period pairs comprising first and second time periods: measuring a first parameter for an uplink channel received and a second parameter for each of a plurality of downlink channels transmitted by the network node; and for the uplink channel, determining a first difference between the first parameter measured during the first time period and the first parameter measured during the second time period. Such embodiments also include, based on the first difference and the second parameters, determining a predictive model for an IMD signal, associated with the downlink channels, that can be received by the network node in the uplink channel. For example, the predictive model can be used to adjust transmitter settings to improve IMD performance.

  • Patent number: 11825511
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that multiple physical uplink channels scheduled for the UE overlap. The multiple physical uplink channels may include a first physical uplink channel and a second physical uplink channel that are associated with different priority levels. The UE may transmit at least one of the first physical uplink channel or the second physical uplink channel according to a prioritization or a multiplexing of the first physical uplink channel and the second physical uplink channel. The prioritization or the multiplexing is based at least in part on whether the UE is enabled to perform simultaneous physical uplink control channel and physical uplink shared channel transmissions. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Patent number: 11825415
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE starts a first timer (such as a discontinuous reception (DRX) hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round-trip-time (RTT) timer), after sending an uplink (UL) data transmission to a network entity. The UE then starts a second timer (such as a DRX retransmission timer) when the first timer expires. The UE then determines whether to wake up or sleep for a duration of the second timer based on a prior block error rate (BLER).

  • Patent number: 11811646
Abstract: A system manages network traffic in a distributed system comprising a plurality of network devices. The network devices are divided into a plurality of network slices, each of the network slices including a subset of the network devices such that there is no overlap of network devices between the network slices. Individual network slices are associated with individual slice controllers, and an individual slice controller is configured to manage network routing of an individual network slice. Each of the individual slice controllers route the network traffic within each respective individual network slice. The network traffic is independently routed based on expected network conditions for each respective individual network slice, and data defining routing decisions is contained within each network slice to limit fault effects between the network slices.

  • Patent number: 11800571
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for avoiding conflicts of resources assigned to one or more signals with resources assigned to Random Access Channel (RACH) in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network. Configurations for first and second sets of signals are obtained for a first and second base station (BS) respectively. Based on the obtained configurations, a RACH configuration is determined for the first BS for performing a RACH procedure with the second BS over a wireless backhaul link, wherein one or more Physical RACH (PRACH) occasions according to the determined RACH configuration do not conflict with resources used for at least one of the first or the second set of signals. The determined RACH configuration is communicated to the second BS, wherein the second BS transmits a RACH signal to the first BS based on the determined RACH configuration.

  • Patent number: 11799772
Abstract: Techniques are described for supporting multiple virtual networks over an underlay network. The techniques may provide support for network slicing and enhanced virtual private networks (VPNs) over an underlay network. In general, the techniques include allocating a subset of resources (e.g., nodes and/or links) of the underlay network to a particular virtual network, and advertising the subset of resources to provider edge (PE) routers that are participating in the virtual network. A network controller device may advertise the subset of resources for the virtual network to the respective PE routers using BGP-LS (Border Gateway Protocol-Link State). Based on the advertisements, each of the PE routers generates a restricted view of the full underlay network topology for the virtual network and, thus, only uses the subset of resources in the restricted view to generate routing and forwarding tables for the virtual network.

  • Patent number: 11792814
Abstract: Various embodiments herein provide techniques for cancelation of one or more uplink (UL) transmissions from a user equipment (UE). The UE may receive an indication of a parameter d to use for determining a start of a reference UL resource (RUR). The parameter d may be UE-specific. The UE may further receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that includes a downlink control information (DCI) to indicate that a UL transmission is to be canceled in a RUR. The UE may determine a starting symbol of the RUR based on the parameter d. In embodiments, the UE may scale the parameter d based on a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) associated with the parameter d and a second SCS associated with the uplink transmission to obtain a scaled parameter d? that is used to determine the starting symbol of the RUR. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
