Abstract: Provided are a size adjuster and a headwear using the same having advantages of increasing exterior aesthetical features and automatically adjusting a circumference of a wearing portion of a headwear. The size adjuster may include: a first guide having one end connected to the wearing portion; a second guide having one end connected to the wearing portion corresponding to a position of the first guide; a case having an inner portion connected to the respective other ends of the first and second guides and where the first and second guides move through; and an elastic band extended or contracted by connecting to the first and second guides.

Abstract: A hand covering comprises a shell and a hood. The hood of the hand covering is selectively disposable in multiple configurations. In one configuration, the hood can be disposed so that it covers part of the finger portion. In another configuration, the hood can be disposed so that it does not cover the finger portion and the entire finger portion is exposed. In one embodiment, the hand covering includes a movement mechanism that can be manipulated to move the hood relative to the shell.

Abstract: A continuous loop, elastomeric band for encircling a portion of a user's head, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises a main body including a center hub and a plurality of curved fins, each fin having a curved shape tapering to an outer tip and at least one pair of adjacent fins cooperatively defining a moisture-collecting channel. Each fin includes a convex side and opposite thereto a concave side. The moisture-collecting channel being defined by the convex side of one fin and the concave side of an adjacent fin.

Abstract: Swimming goggles include a couple of reticulate holding frames connected by a bridge, a couple of frames assembled in the reticulate holding frames, a couple of eyeglasses assembled in the frames, and fasteners. The reticulate holding frames are made of rigid material. Each reticulate holding frame forms a first and a second locking annulus corresponding to each other. Each reticulate holding frame defines an assembling opening in outward sides of the first and the second locking annulus. A first and a second connecting sheets respectively extend from opposing sides of the assembling opening and are assembled together when the swimming goggles are assembled. The frames are made of soft material and are assembled in the reticulate holding frames. The fasteners are assembled on the first and the second connecting sheets of the reticulate holding frames, and press the first and the second connecting sheets in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction.

Abstract: A sports cap in which a visor has an intermediate support layer bonded with a bottom lining layer and sandwiched between a top layer and a bottom layer, and a positioning block with a center insertion hole selectively fastened to one of recesses on the top side of the intermediate support layer for securing a stem of a decorative item for enabling a golf counter to be detachably fastened to the decorative item by means of magnetic attraction.

Abstract: A headgear apparatus in the design of a baseball style cap is provided having an attachment means adapted to removably hold a toy miniature car atop the brim thereof. The apparatus includes a light source for directing narrow beams of light forwardly from the forward peripheral edge of the brim of the headgear.

Abstract: A goalkeeper's glove with a glove body portion and glove fingers attached to and in communication with the body portion for enveloping a wearer's hand includes an open arch extension with attachment legs on at least one glove finger to protect the finger from jamming injuries and to extend the reach of the wearer. The arch of the extension creates an air gap between the extension tip and the tip of the finger that acts as a crumple zone in absorbing and dissipating the energy of the impact away from the fingertip to prevent a jamming injury. The arch construction ensures that the energy from the impact will be directed along the attachment legs along the length of the finger instead of the fingertip.

Abstract: Embodiments of a cap configured for catching a ball are disclosed. The cap comprises a brim affixed to a concave crown, and a glove portion affixed or integrated into the crown, wherein the glove portion comprises at least one opening proximate a wearer's ear for entry and accommodation of the wearer's hand. Certain embodiments of the cap further comprise an extension portion of the crown configured to unfold or extend to facilitate catching a ball.

Abstract: A tubular length of fabric has a plurality of V's cut on each end. A first end is pulled inside the fabric tube, the V's of the first end are aligned with the V's of the second end and the peripheral edges of the V's sewn together. A hole formed in one layer of the fabric forms the means to covert the garment from a closed-topped hat to a cylindrical tube which can be worn as a variety of garments including a neck gaiter, a face gaiter, an open-topped hat and a head band. The method of making the garment is also set forth.

Abstract: A pair of gloves for keeping fingers clean during the eating of juicy foods includes a left-hand glove having a first pocket for receiving a left thumb, a second pocket for receiving a left index finger, and a third pocket for receiving a left middle finger and a right-hand glove having a first pocket for receiving a right thumb, a second pocket for receiving a right index finger, and a third pocket for receiving a right middle finger. The ring and little fingers of a user's hands are not protected and are held in spaced apart relation to the food during consumption. The gloves are made from whole gloves formed of a thin vinyl by cutting off the pockets for receiving the ring and little fingers of each hand.

Abstract: A bedsore prevention kit includes a finger grip that includes a tubular member having a first end and a second end. A strap is attached to and extends between the first and second ends. The strap is extendable over a plurality of fingers and the tubular member is positionable between the fingers and a palm of a hand. A palm protector has a first edge, a second edge, a third edge and a fourth edge. The first and second edges are positioned opposite of each other. The palm protector is wedge-shaped and has a decreasing thickness from the second edge to the first edge. The palm protector is positionable between a plurality of fingertips and the palm of a hand.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for utilizing heat-generating articles to provide active heating of a user's hand, wherein a heated article is placed near the inside of a user's wrist to cause the user's body temperature to be maintained or actively changed. A holder apparatus for use with a conventional heat pack may include a glove body including a wrist sleeve having an externally accessible pocket for receiving the heat pack. The finger end of the glove body may be truncated to allow the holder apparatus to be worn inside of, and in conjunction with a conventional glove or mitten. The holder apparatus may also include a securing band which serves to engird the inside of the wrist to thereby hold the article closely against the wrist and thereby assure heat transfer between the temperature-altering article and the inside of the wrist.

Abstract: A cheering system includes a glove including a palm covering, a back hand covering and a plurality of finger receiving members. A plurality of cheering devices is provided. Each of the cheering devices has a panel attached thereto. A coupler is configured for removably coupling one of the panels of the cheering devices to an outer surface of the back hand covering.

Abstract: Headwear is disclosed having a cut-out or opening along the bottom side edges to accommodate eyewear or other items, and eliminate interference in the ear area between the headwear and the eyewear or other item. The cut-out or opening is defined by a headwear bottom side edge that is substantially different and/or higher than the generally smooth, consistent arc seen in the prior art.

Abstract: A headwear piece or cap comprises a crown portion and a bill portion conjoined at one end with the crown portion. The bill portion includes a stiffening insert configured to fold in at least one location by way of an interior slot and adjoining terminal crease sections. Each terminal crease section is formed by the provision of oppositely disposed upper and lower indentations at each end of the interior slot. The foldable stiffening insert is sandwiched between two flexible layers.
