The procedure includes accepting, based on user input, data responsive to the engagement, and assigning a score for the current engagement container based on the received data and the parameters defined in the engagement metadata.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for generating a social asset from an electronic publication. The system includes providing a template having a set of reserve spaces for elements. The system receives an electronic publication containing elements including images and text passages. The system assigns images from the publication to each of the reserve spaces for images including assigning a first image from the publication to a first one of the reserve spaces for an image. The system chooses a first one of the text passages for associating with the first image. The system selects a portion of less than all of the first text passage. The system generates a social asset by processing the set of reserve spaces to automatically move forward in an animated manner wherein the selected portion of the first text passage superimposes a portion of the first image.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media to select user generated content of a social network. Each of the images may had one or more filters applied to it. In some aspects, these filters may be sponsored by a third party, different than an operator of the social network. Automatic content screening methods may be applied to eliminate submitted images which have blatantly offensive or otherwise inappropriate content. Additional human screening of the images may be performed. Remaining images may be provided in a highlight reel. The highlight reel may showcase the third party's product or service and users of the product or service. The highlight reel may be utilized to demonstrate how the filters may be utilized by real users.

Abstract: Techniques for obtaining electronic signatures via word processing applications are described. One approach utilizes a code module, also referred to as a “markup module,” that executes within a word processing application and that facilitates the preparation of a document for electronic signature. A user can operate the word processing application together with the markup module in order to add signature tag markers to the document and to provide recipient information about intended signers, such as names and email addresses. Once the document has been prepared, the code module transmits the document (including the added signature tag markers) and the recipient information to a digital transaction service. The digital transaction service then manages the signing of the document, such as by notifying the recipient, receiving the recipient's signature and securely storing the signature in association with the document.

The web page is displayed using the bundle of web page resources. In response to determining that the web page performance data is not stored, the web page performance data is stored for use in determining whether to bundle web page resources for a subsequent request of the web page at the connection speed.
