Abstract: Disclosed herein are a vehicle settlement system and method, and more particularly, a vehicle settlement system and method that utilize object recognition information as settlement authentication information. The vehicle settlement system according to an embodiment includes a vehicle control system, a financial settlement server, and a store system. Here, the vehicle control system includes an object recognition module that is provided to collect object information for settlement authentication, and a vehicle control system control unit that recognizes an object based on the object information collected by the object recognition module.

In one embodiment, the API-Tool may facilitate obtaining a plurality of authentication parameters and widget customization parameters. The API-Tool may authenticate a user using a parameter derived from the plurality of authentication parameters and may dynamically generate a purchase widget for the authenticated user using the plurality of widget customization parameters.

In order for a transaction to be effected, the secure element sends the one-time passwords to the service device.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally related to a system and method for authenticating a transfer request. A computing system receives a transfer request from a client device. The computing system determines that the monetary amount specified in the transfer request exceeds a threshold. The computing system identifies an automated teller machine (ATM) based on at least location information associated with a user of the client device. The computing system prompts the user to authenticate the transfer request at the identified ATM by transferring a message to the client device to be displayed thereon. The computing system receives an authentication attempt of the user from the ATM. The computing system compares authentication information in the authentication attempt to personal identification information associated with the user. The computing system determines that the authentication information at least partially matches personal identification information associated with the user.

Abstract: Methods and systems for processing trip-based insurance policies for vehicles. According to aspects, a trip-based insurance policy of a vehicle specifies an amount of trip units for insured vehicle travel and has an associated policy term. In certain cases, a customer may exhaust trip units before an expiration of the policy term. The methods and systems therefore enable the purchase of additional trip units so that the customer remains insured. In other cases, upon expiration of the policy term, an insurance provider may calculate an amount of unused trip units. The insurance provider may determine one or more types of credit that are based on the amount of unused trip units. The insurance provider may also apply the one or more types of credit to an account of the customer.

In an example, a method includes receiving a first set of data from a set of agent components, wherein the first set of data represents a purchase, a transmission, a production, a sale or a consumption of energy; and facilitating execution, by the system, of a set of contracts between a first subset of agent components and a second subset of agent components based on the first set of data. In another example, a method can further include insuring, by the system, the set of contracts against a supply surplus of energy or a production shortage of energy.

Abstract: Methods and systems for maintaining a distributed ledger and/or blockchain of transactions and/or events pertaining to autonomous vehicles and/or smart contracts are provided. One or more processors may monitor one or more sensors associated with an autonomous vehicle. Based upon the outputs of the sensors, a change in condition of the autonomous vehicle may be detected. The condition may relate to operation, or an operational state of the vehicle and/or a condition associated with a smart contract. The processors may generate a transaction describing the detected change in the condition of the vehicle. The transaction may be transmitted to an enforcement server. As a result, an up-to-date ledger of autonomous vehicle and/or smart contract transactions and/or events may be maintained.

Abstract: Cash grid techniques or systems are disclosed that provide a centralized tracking service for physical and digital currency. In operation, physical digital currency can be associated with, and otherwise tracked between, a mobile wallet and to the cash grid using unique ledger and communication systems and methodologies. A trusted bank or other entity can provide a machine which can convert physical cash to virtual cash. As part of the conversion from physical to digital currency, the identification (ID) (e.g., serial number) of the physical cash is transferred to and linked to the virtual (or digital) cash.

Abstract: An unmanned insurance drone can include a drone body and a sensor unit disposed on the drone body to collect sensor data. An on-board data processor converts the sensor data into insurance related information, and a wireless communication unit in communication with the data processor to transmit the insurance related information. In another example, the data processor may not be on the drone but remotely located. The location can be with the pilot or a control collection location. If the insurance related information is separate from the drone, than the wireless communication unit can transmit the raw sensor data to the processor.

Abstract: A novel item payment settlement system is configured such that during a purchasing processes for items of differing purchase charges performed through an application on a mobile phone, connections are made to phone numbers having different connection charges, so that purchase charges of the items can be paid in the form of mobile phone connection charges, and a method therefor. Data in which a different phone number is associated in advance with each of purchase prices is retrieved from a memory, and a user identification signal such as a mobile phone number or the like is sent by making a call to the outside, whereby it is possible for an outside party to identify from the incoming phone number an amount that is to be paid; and further, the user number that is to pay can be easily determined.

Abstract: An illicit website identifying (IWI) computing device is described herein, the IWI computing device configured to store a log of suspect illicit websites, the log including website content associated with each suspect illicit website. Each suspect illicit website is associated with a respective merchant. The IWI computing device is also configured to receive transaction data for at least one transaction initiated at a first suspect illicit website, the first suspect illicit website included within the log of suspect illicit websites, and analyze the received transaction data to identify one or more transactions including at least a portion of the website content associated with the first suspect illicit website. The IWI computing device is further configured to identify the first suspect illicit website and the merchant associated therewith as illicit for further investigation, and generate an identification report including the identified illicit website and merchant.

Abstract: Networks, systems and methods for recovering data messages from a market data stream and for building a book for a financial instrument are disclosed. An out-of-band data stream related to an as-of state of the market for one or more financial instruments is distributed parallel to a stream of market data for the financial instrument. The as-of data stream is referenced to the financial according to a unique identifier of the messages of the market data stream. The as-of data for a financial instrument may be provided at periodic rate that may be varied according to one or more factors.

Abstract: A payment transaction method between a customer with a portable mobile device and a service point includes determining, at a payment terminal of the service point, a total transaction amount to be paid and a transaction identification that is different from other transaction identifications used for other transactions and assigned to the total transaction amount. The method includes informing the customer about the total transaction amount and the transaction identification. The method includes transmitting, from the payment terminal, the total transaction amount and the transaction identification to a central transaction unit. The method includes transmitting, from the mobile device, the transaction identification without inclusion of the transaction amount to the central transaction unit. The method further includes transmitting from the central transaction unit a payment request including at least the total transaction amount to the mobile device.
