Abstract: The effort of changing an application in conjunction with a change in process content or change in the type or specifications of a receiver can be reduced, and a cooperative process involving a plurality of receivers without going through an application can be achieved. An integrated device control service acquires output data, information related to the address of a first receiver and a first style sheet for the first receiver, and information related to the address of a second receiver and a second style sheet for the second receiver from an application and a style sheet database that stores a plurality of style sheets describing information conversion rules. In accordance with the success or failure of first conversion data distribution, the integrated device control service sends second conversion data, which is the output data converted according to the second style sheet, to the second receiver.

Abstract: Systems and methods of determining compliance of content in a website or web application are disclosed. The systems and methods comprise a compliance tool to retrieve data associated with website or web application content. The compliance tool can scan the data to determine references to network locations. The compliance tool can compare the references to one or more approval rules to determine whether the references comply with the approval rules. A report can be compiled and outputted that indicates which references comply and which references do not comply with the approval rules. A user can have the option to add non-complying references to an approved list. The compliance tool can further remove non-complying references from the website or web application data and/or register non-complying references with a firewall.

Abstract: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device to perform operations including determining, a first playback latency of a streaming media signal at a first media processor and a second playback latency of the same signal at a second media processor. A coordinated time is determined according to a target latency not less than a greater of the first and second playback latencies. A first buffer, when adjusted by a first buffer value, causes an in-content reference to be encountered at the coordinated time during playback by the first media processor. Likewise, a second buffer, when adjusted by a second buffer value, causes the in-content reference to be encountered at the coordinated time during playback by the second media processor. The suitably adjusted buffers allow playback of the streaming media to be synchronized between the first and second media processors. Other embodiments are disclosed.

In some implementations, a request to generate an information feed is associated with configuration information, which identifies a source of information updates. Each of the information updates can be of a certain type. The configuration information identifies one or more of these types. An information update can be selected from the identified information source. The selected information update has one or more of the types associated therewith. The requested information feed is generated to include the selected information update and displayed on a display device.

Abstract: A system for load distribution using a mail proxy, which includes a client, a public network, and an Internet service provider (ISP) network, and a plurality of e-mail servers. The Internet service provider (ISP) network includes a virtual private network (VPN) device, which is configured to prevent unauthorized access to a private network. The VPN device also includes a mail proxy and an authentication and authorization module or service capable of at least the following: validating credentials of the client, and identifying at least one outgoing e-mail server and at least one incoming e-mail server for each client. The plurality of e-mail servers include a plurality of outgoing e-mail servers and a plurality of incoming e-mail servers.

Abstract: A method for planning a meeting in a cloud computing environment is disclosed. The method embodiment includes receiving by a server a meeting configuration file including information identifying a meeting, a plurality of meeting collaborators, and/or a plurality of meeting participants. When the meeting configuration file is received, the server is configured to generate a virtual planning space associated with the meeting and located in a cloud computing environment, to transmit a message to the plurality of meeting collaborators that includes an invitation to collaborate in the meeting via the virtual planning space, and to receive an indication to load planning content that includes at least one data object. In response to receiving the indication, the server associates the planning content with the virtual planning space so that the planning content is accessible by the meeting collaborators via the virtual planning space in the cloud computing environment.

Abstract: System and method for reporting usage of a network infrastructure includes obtaining a map that includes at least one flow-mapping that correlates a flow feature with a service and that correlates a flow feature with an endpoint type, wherein the endpoint types include at least a subscriber type and a service type; at a first computer, receiving flow telemetry of a network infrastructure, the flow telemetry representing at least the destination and source attributes for network traffic in the flow telemetry; categorizing the flow telemetry into at least a subscriber flow category based on the source and destination endpoint types of the traffic; for subscriber flow telemetry of a subscriber, processing the subscriber flow telemetry into at least one flow feature; identifying at least one service to attribute to at least a portion of the subscriber flow telemetry, the service identified through the processed flow feature and a flow-mapping.

Abstract: A function is provided in a network system for the dynamic mirroring of network traffic for a variety of purposes including the identification of characteristics of the traffic. Multiple criteria are established for when, what and where to mirror the traffic. The criteria include what frames of traffic to mirror, what portions of the selected frames to mirror, one or more portals through which to mirror the selected frames, a destination for the mirroring and the establishment of a mirror in a device to carry out the mirroring. The criteria may also include when to stop the mirroring. The mirroring instructions can be changed based on the detection of a triggering event, such as authentication, device type or status, ownership of an attached function attached to the device, flow status, but not limited to that. The function may be established in one or more devices of the network.

The method is applicable for an electronic apparatus, and the method includes: obtaining capability information of each client apparatus in a subnet where the electronic apparatus is located, so as to obtain total capability information; connecting a server system and receiving a capability inquiring instruction from the server system; reporting the total capability information to the server system in response to the capability inquiring instruction, so that the server system sends a drawing instruction; co-generating the frame with the client apparatuses according to the drawing instruction sent by the server system.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided in order to obtain an image from a remote computer with the image being associated with the current location of a mobile terminal via which a user provides input soliciting the image. In the context of a method, the user input representative of a request to obtain an image from a remote computer may be received. The method may then determine a current context including a location of a mobile terminal and may cause the current context to be transmitted to the remote computer. The method may also receive an image from the remote computer based upon the current context of the mobile terminal. In this regard, the image is associated with the location of the mobile terminal upon receiving the user input. The method may also cause the image received from the remote computer to be stored.

Abstract: A client-based method, a server-based method, and a client device enable streaming of multiple video streams utilizing standardized methods while ensuring the multiple video streams share bandwidth over a single, variable connection such as a wireless connection. These methods and device enable an equitably share of bandwidth across multiple video streams sharing a same physical medium. Further, these methods and device can enable selective prioritization of any of the multiple streams.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for sending electronic messages. One embodiment provides methods which include accepting a message in a disparate source-message-type. The recipient, a recipient-message-type, and the source-message-type are determined and, responsive thereto, adaptors are selected for changing the message from the source-message-type to the recipient-message-type. The message is adapted and versions of the adapted message are sent to the recipients. The message types correspond to permutations of technologies and user preferences associated with the messages. Moreover, the message could be an emergency notification, part of a campaign, etc. Quality of service (QOS) measurements regarding the message can be gathered and different adaptors can be dynamically selected responsive thereto. Further, third-party adaptors can be accepted and rules can be implemented pursuant to which the third-party adaptors will be used.

Abstract: Methods and Systems for distributing and installing a digital certificate are provided. In this method, an object stored in a secure local network is associated with a proxy server. The object is presented by the proxy server to a remote server through a controlled access point in the secure local network to request a new digital certificate. The object includes the request for the new digital certificate, validity scope information; and an address associated with the controlled access point.

Abstract: A server downloads a code image to remote devices so that the remote devices are performing properly in accordance with an updated version of the code image. The server may include an application server that targets devices and informs the targeted devices about a multicasting session. The targeted devices subsequently join the multicast session supported by a multicasting server and extract the code image from the multicast session. After the multicast session has been completed, the downloading center polls the targeted devices to determine which devices have successfully downloaded the code image. The server may repeat the download to devices that did not successfully download the code image by subsequently scheduling a subsequent multicasting session or by individually sending the code image to the devices. Portions of the code image may be sent in multicasting messages based on a depth level and interval.

Abstract: Methods and systems for compiling marketing information for a client are provided. Data can be obtained from a plurality of social media websites, where each of the social media websites includes a universal resource identifier that points to a client website. A plurality of insights can be extracted from the obtained data, resulting in extracted insights. Each of the extracted insights comprises text elements that denote product approval for at least one product available for sale at the client website. Measurements of traffic to the client website can be collected, the traffic being referred to the client website by the plurality of social media websites. A referred traffic dynamics summary table can then be generated based on the extracted insights and the measurements of traffic. The referred traffic dynamics summary table aggregates the extracted insights across the plurality of social media websites to rank the extracted insights.

In accordance with one embodiment, a method for establishing a communication session with a contact is provided. The method includes causing information about at least one contact associated with the user to be displayed on the mobile device and receiving input to initiate a communication session with the contact. Then, if the identified contact is associated with a CB radio, a CB based communication session is established in which audio is transmitted and received from the mobile device using a CB radio communication unit. On the other hand, if the identified contact is associated with a remote device capable of performing data-based communications, a data-based communication session is established and which data is transmitted and received in accordance with IP-based protocols.
