  • Patent number: 10990248
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for collecting information about operations performed on a client device and storing the operation information. Operations are combinations of view-structures and events that occur as a user interacts with applications on a client device. A view-structure may be a data structure including information about interface elements of a software application and information about content stored within the interface elements. An event may be an action performed with respect to an interface element, or another type of input to the system. The system receives information about events that occur on a client device and provides a channel of communication between an operation mimicry system and an operating system of the client device such that the operation mimicry system can store data about executed operations.

  • Patent number: 10984041
Abstract: The disclosed technology can receive a voice query or text query in a natural language and translate it from natural language to a native database management language to respond to the query. For example, a human can ask his or her computer to “show large emails from December 2016”, and a data agent on computer can receive the voice request, convert audio associated with the voice to words in natural language, convert natural language into a SQL query, and convert the SQL query into a database management query. The data agent is trained with a corpus of technical documents and rules to determine the intent or keywords for answering the query. In some implementations, the disclosed technology can also include a chatbot and/or administrative assistant to enable a human to interface with a database management software using voice or text.

  • Patent number: 10929556
Abstract: The invention relates generally to improved secure data storage that utilizes zoned data storage and control and/or integration of discrete data for masking the stored data. The data may be divided and stored in different zoned databases and assigned different access rights in order to separate data that is part of a larger combination of data into smaller data portions, which makes it difficult for unauthorized use of such data. Additionally, or alternatively, data that is stored within a database may be combined with other discrete data (e.g., unrelated real data) in order to mask the data being stored. As such, the masked data is more secure and less storage spaces is required due to the utilization of real data for masking. When an unauthorized requestor of the stored data is identified deterrence actions may be taken to reduce the unauthorized user's ability to access the desired data.

  • Patent number: 10866999
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing a query for a ranking of candidates for an opportunity. During operation, the system obtains a set of parameters associated with a query for a ranking of candidates for an opportunity, wherein the set of parameters include a candidate, the opportunity, and a ranking category. Next, the system uses the set of parameters to obtain a set of pre-computed scores for use in generating the ranking and determine a number of online scores required to complete the ranking. The system then generates a set of calls to produce the determined number of the online scores. Finally, the system uses the pre-computed scores and the online scores to generate a result of the query.

  • Patent number: 10853196
Abstract: Systems and methods for discovering applications. An application may be discovered by determining a topology of the application in a containerized platform. Discovering the topology may include determining the components of the application and then determining relationships between the components. The relationships may include whether a component (e.g., a microservice) is user facing and may be based on traffic patterns between the components. The components or microservices may be prioritized or ranked based on the topology. The topology can be used when performing a data protection operation such as a restore operation.
