Abstract: Systems and methods include UAVs that serve to assist carrier personnel by reducing the physical demands of the transportation and delivery process. A UAV generally includes a UAV chassis including an upper portion, a plurality of propulsion members configured to provide lift to the UAV chassis, and a parcel carrier configured for being selectively coupled to and removed from the UAV chassis. UAV support mechanisms are utilized to load and unload parcel carriers to the UAV chassis, and the UAV lands on and takes off from the UAV support mechanism to deliver parcels to a serviceable point. The UAV includes computing entities that interface with different systems and computing entities to send and receive various types of information.

Abstract: An information processing method, a server, and a logistics terminal are provided. The information processing method includes receiving a query request sent by a logistics terminal; determining, in at least one prestored order, target order information that corresponds to an authentication identifier and includes a delivery address within a delivery distance threshold range that uses a current location of the logistics terminal as a center; feeding back the determined target order information to the logistics terminal; and pushing online prompt information to a corresponding ordering user terminal according to the ordering user account in the target order after an arrival notice instruction sent by the logistics terminal is received. It can be seen that, in this solution, the objectives are achieved of improving goods delivery efficiency and reducing a delivery cost.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for using network data in an automated delivery system is provided. The method is implemented using a delivery validation server in communication with a memory. The method includes receiving an online order originating from a user computer device. The online order includes a delivery address and network information associated with a wireless network associated with the delivery address. The method also includes configuring a delivery device based on the network information and the delivery address, and receiving a delivery confirmation message transmitted from the delivery device through the wireless network associated with the delivery address. The delivery device is connected to the wireless network based on the network information.

Abstract: System and methods for management of third party satellite radio activation/deactivation by a vehicle rental service company, wherein satellite radio services may be provided in a rental car when requested by a customer. The systems and methods will enable activation of a satellite radio shortly before or at the start of the rental period, and activation may be altered by the vehicle rental service company in the event that the rental period is shortened or extended, or if the vehicle is exchanged. The systems and methods deactivate the satellite radio service at the end of the rental period. The systems and methods may also be used to activate or deactivate other equipment or services made available via a vehicle rental service company in response to a customer request.

Abstract: A device may receive an indication that a product has arrived at a destination. The product may have been shipped by an entity to the destination. The device may perform an analysis on the product to determine an attribute of the product. The device may perform a comparison of information identifying the attribute of the product and information included in an encrypted record, for the product, of a blockchain, to verify the attribute of the product. The information included in the encrypted record may be related to attributes of the product. The attributes of the product may have been determined by the entity that shipped the product to the destination. The device may determine whether the attribute of the product is verified based on performing the comparison. The device may perform an action based on determining whether the attribute of the product is verified.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention involve systems, methods, and computer program products that provide enhanced messages. In embodiment, a method for sending messages is provided that includes receiving shipping data that includes a destination address for delivery of an item, a message address for sending a notification message, customized data and a trigger event. In response to an occurrence of the triggering event, a notification message is sent to the message address and providing access to the customized data.

Abstract: A system, in various embodiments, is configured to redirect undeliverable parcels to alternate delivery locations. The parcels may be undeliverable due to an unavailability of an intended recipient of the parcels to sign for the parcels or otherwise take delivery of the parcels at the delivery address. The system may be configured to determine a suitable alternate delivery location based at least in part on: one or more parcel recipient preferences, one or more parcel shipper preferences, a location of the delivery address, etc. The system may be further configured to notify the parcel recipient of a redirection of the parcel to the alternate delivery address.

Abstract: Devices, methods, and products are disclosed for collecting tolls for the use of traffic areas which are subject to tolls by a vehicle. To book an authorization for the use of one out of several alternatively usable traffic areas by a vehicle in sufficient time, first position data of the vehicle are associated with alternatively usable traffic areas with regard to the imminent potential use thereof. Use authorizations are booked for the traffic areas. The use of these authorizations can be voided, with the exception of the one that was verifiably used, insofar as second position data of the vehicle are associated with the same traffic areas with respect to a verified non-use.

In some embodiments, the system is configured to determine an appropriate response to determining that the attended delivery/pickup location cannot accept delivery of the parcel substantially automatically. The apparatus may include at least one memory and at least one processor configured to detect a travel path of a vehicle based in part on received items of location data. The processor is also configured to determine whether the travel path is associated with a defined street segment including a plurality of location points corresponding to a street. The processor is further configured to determine whether the vehicle travels the street multiple times in a predefined time period. The processor is further configured to superimpose visible indicia on the defined street segment in response to detecting that the vehicle traveled the street multiple times during the predefined time period. Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a user with re-registration for an event by presenting a previously used credential to a preceding occurrence of the event. The method includes: providing a registrant with a credential relating to an authorization for a first event from a microprocessor based computer system; and terminating the credential's ability to authorize the registrant for the first event. The microprocessor based computer system then receives a representation of the credential issues to the registrant and automatically registers the participant for a second event.

The device may perform an analysis on the product to determine an attribute of the product. Abstract: In general, techniques are described for authenticating a parcel consignee. A device including an imaging module, processors, and an output module may implement the techniques. The imaging module images a first indicia of a parcel and a second indicia that is separate from the first parcel to obtain representations of the first and second indicia. The processors process the representations of the first and second indicia to determine a first key specified by the first indicia and a second key specified by the second indicia. The processors also determine whether the second key corresponds with the first key, and authenticate a consignee that provided the second indicia as an authorized recipient of the parcel based on the determination of whether the second key corresponds with the first key. The output module then indicates whether the one or more processors authenticate the consignee as the authorized recipient of the parcel.

Abstract: Techniques herein attempt to provide actors with more flexible and satisfactory experiences regarding obtaining tickets for an event. A learning model may identify attributes indicative of whether a particular actor (e.g., attempting to purchase tickets to an event) possesses a desirable characteristic (e.g., is likely to attend the event). Each actor can then be evaluated to estimate whether she is a good actor (possesses the characteristic). If so, favored opportunities may be made available, such as the opportunity to buy high-demand tickets. An actor may further have the opportunity to hold or reserve tickets for a period time, during which other actors cannot purchase them. A fee for holding or reserving tickets (and/or maintaining the hold or reserve) can be dynamically set based on market factors. Opportunities to modify seat assignments to allow a group of friends to sit together may also be provided.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, media and code for routing a mail item part are provided. A receiver device may electronically receive: an indication that a first mail item part of a mail item is a check; an indication that a second mail item part of a mail item is a payment coupon; and an indication that a third mail item part of a mail item is a message. A processor device may: route the first mail item part and the second mail item part to a first destination; and route the third mail item part to a second destination that corresponds to terms in the message.
