According to one embodiment, an adjustable portable device holder includes an adjustable clamping element and a rotatable mounting element attached to the adjustable clamping element for removably securing a portable device to the adjustable portable device holder.

Abstract: User-wearable remote speaker mic (RSM) holders for positioning a remote speaker mic relative to the mouth of the wearer are disclosed as well as a wearable radio support system including the same. The RSM holders include an elongate body having a first end and a second end and a first major side extending from the first end to the second end, and RSM attachment member positionable along the length of the first major side. The first end of the elongate body is releasably attachable to or is permanently attached to a donnable article of clothing or donnable gear, and a first attachment member is positioned at or proximate the second end of the elongate body and is connectable to a feature of the donnable article of clothing and/or the donnable gear.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for mounting an object to a pallet jack are disclosed. One apparatus includes a base, a hook, and a clamping element. The base is sized to be positioned on a head of the pallet jack. The hook is sized to engage an underside of the pallet jack. The hook is movably coupled to a front of the base such that a distance between the base and the hook is adjustable. The clamping element is coupled to a rear of the base. At least a portion of the clamping element is positioned to extend underneath the head of the pallet jack when the base is positioned on the head of the pallet jack.

Abstract: A tool holder is described, that is suitable for securely holding a variety of tools within the holder. The tool holder of the invention is particularly well suited for holding a variety of cordless power tools, hammers, squares or other loose tool objects. The apparatus may include a saddle member that partially clamps around the handle of a tool.

Abstract: A utility device includes a base tapered at an edge and a clip. The clip includes a hook, and when in a closed position, the hook fits into a recess of the clip and is unable to receive an object. However, in an opened position, the hook is pivoted away from the clip and is able to receive an object. An abutment prevents the hook from opening further than the opened position. The clip further includes a channel with overhangs and retainers that prevent an attached corresponding rotatable attachment piece from detaching from the channel. The corresponding rotatable attachment piece may attach to the channel and rotate within the channel. However, a first and second set of stoppers limit the rotation of the corresponding rotatable attachment piece within the channel. Further, the utility device may include a slot offset from the base to receive a corresponding fixed attachment piece.

The wearable carrier includes a secure compartment for valuable item storage to be worn by users during their common activities, including physical exercises. The carrier is constructed to maintain the security and safety of the valuable item while withstanding strenuous activity.

Abstract: A vehicle hitch assembly for suspension support of an accessory from the rear of a vehicle having a rear bumper and a trailer hitch receiver positioned under the bumper. The hitch assembly includes a horizontally extending rigid trailer hitch receiver insert for insertion and retention in the vehicle trailer hitch receiver, and a rigid support arm having one end adjustably and detachably securable to the vehicle rear bumper and another end thereof rigidly and adjustably securable to the trailer hitch receiver insert. An accessory support is then secured to the vehicle hitch assembly for supporting a load off of the rear of the vehicle.

Abstract: A modular bag includes first and second bags, pairs of first and second straps, first to four fasteners, wherein the first straps are provided on the first bag, and each includes a shoulder band, an adjustment ring, and an adjustment band, the shoulder band is connected to an upper portion of the first bag, the adjustment ring is connected to the shoulder band. The adjustment band is connected to a bottom of the first bag, and passes through the adjustment ring, which forms a free section, the first fasteners are provided on the shoulder bands, the second fasteners are provided on the free sections, the second straps are connected to an upper portion of the second bag, the third fasteners are respectively provided on the second straps, and detachably fastened to the first fasteners, and the fourth fasteners are respectively provided on the second bag and detachably fastened to the second fasteners.

Abstract: A method of using a convertible includes providing a convertible bag that includes a changing surface including a first tray panel and a second tray panel; first and second panel side walls extending perpendicular from the first and second tray panels, respectively; a shoulder strap including a first strap end and a second strap end, wherein each of the first and second strap ends is removably attached to the bag; and a plurality of connection points for removably attaching the first and second strap ends to the bag. The convertible bag moves between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the first panel and the second panel are parallel. In the open position, the first and second tray panels are within a plane.

Abstract: A carrier for a spare tire of a vehicle includes a base, a mount, and a locking member. The base is configured to be coupled to the vehicle. The mount is coupled to the base and pivotable relative to the base about a pivot axis. The mount is configured to support the spare tire for common rotation with the mount about the pivot axis. The pivot axis is offset from a central axis of the spare tire when the spare tire is supported by the mount. The locking member is movable between a locked position wherein the locking member engages the mount and the base to prevent relative movement therebetween, and an unlocked position wherein the mount is pivotable relative to the base.

Abstract: A cargo mounting system is shown and described. The cargo mounting system may include a rail having first and second portions and a length, the first portion being opposite the second portion, a first engaging member positioned on the first portion of the rail, and a second engaging member positioned on the second portion of the rail. The cargo mounting system may also include at least one vehicle attaching member selectively attached to and positionable on the second engaging member of the rail, the at least one vehicle attaching member selectively attachable to a vehicle, and at least one accessory mounting member selectively attached to and positionable on at least one of the first and second engaging members, where the at least one accessory mounting member is capable of carrying an item.

Abstract: A handgun carrier for carrying a handgun is disclosed. In one embodiment, a flexible band encircles the torso and comfortably fit thereagainst with complimentary fasteners adjustably securing the ends of the flexible band. A U-shaped receiver is coupled to the flexible band and configured to permit the handgun to be drawn and holstered from the U-shaped receiver by a bearer of the handgun moving the handgun in a general vertical direction. The U-shaped receiver provides point-of-contact support of the handgun, including front strap and slide subjacent support contact and adjacent grip panel support.

Abstract: Backpacks and backpack systems which have at least a portion which is accessible from the front of a wearer. In one illustrative embodiment, a backpack system in accordance with the present invention includes a back portion with shoulder straps. A swing-around portion is formed as a storage compartment that is secured to the back portion in a carrying position. An articulated frame is secured to the back portion and the swing-around portion and allows a user wearing the backpack to pivot the swing around portion around the user's side and access the contents therein. A securing latch is used to secure the articulating frame to retain the swing-around portion in the carrying position. The entire storage compartment of the pack may be a swing-around portion, or the pack may include multiple storage compartments that are either fixed to the back portion or function as swing-around portions.

A release knot disposed about the free end of the strap having a bridge to the handle. The handle is disposed to bear the weight of a load alternatively on the strap or the handle when a worker lifts the handle. The knot holds fast when it is bearing the weight, and is slidably disposed when the weight is born by the handle.

Abstract: This invention provides for the ability to holster articles and includes a front panel, a rear panel and a pivot and cavity defined by the front panel and rear panel. A resilient member can extending through opening in the front panel and rear panel operatively associated with the front panel and rear panel rear panel so that when an article is inserted into the cavity, tension is placed on the article securing it into the cavity. Multiple cavities can be included so that multiple articles can be carried. The invention can be attached by a mounting assembly.

Abstract: A high strength retention loops for a wearable band of an electronic device and method of forming the retention loop. The retention loop of the wearable band may include a bottom layer, a tensile member encircling the bottom layer, and a top layer positioned adjacent to and substantially encircling the bottom layer and the tensile member. A distinct retention loop may include a single piece of folded leather material having an exterior portion, and two interior portions positioned adjacent the outer portion. The distinct retention loop may also include a tensile member positioned between the exterior portion and the two interior portions.

Abstract: A non-scratch tool belt apparatus conveniently contains instruments that are useful for a task adjacent to a user, such as for detailing operations of objects that have delicate surfaces or finishes. The tool belt apparatus is lightweight and generally features only soft exposed materials, such as cotton. The tool belt reduces the likelihood that users will lose an instrument, and also of scratching a surface. The apparatus includes an elongated fabric belt, a buckle, a non-scratch buckle cover, and a plurality of tool bags. The elongated fabric belt wraps around a user and is secured by the buckle. The buckle cover encloses the buckle to prevent scratching. The buckle cover and plurality of tool bags can slide on the belt. The tool bags are each configured to hold at least one instrument, such as a tool or bottle used in detailing operations.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for towing a load behind a person is disclosed which reduces or dampens the effect of human movement on the load and vice versa. Further, the apparatus and method reduce or dampen the impact and vibrations resulting from traveling over a surface. In one embodiment, the apparatus and method is comprised of a harness for a person to wear, a carriage, and a bow connecting the harness and the carriage.

Abstract: Attachment apparatus for mounting a pouch to the straps of a support article, such as a chest rig, harness, backpack or the like. The attachment apparatus includes pair of locking tab and cord loops mounted to a pouch that couple together around the straps of a support article to secure the pouch to the support article. The locking tabs have a main section and a distal end that folds back over the main section and is bar tacked together so that the distal end lays back over the main section to form a “locking end.” The locking tab extends through the tab loop and is interposed between the main section and the overlying distal end.
