  • Patent number: 11431450
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may determine a mapping configuration for antenna ports that includes mapping antenna ports with high spatial correlation to frequency resource and mapping antenna ports with low spatial correlation to time resources. The base station may apply a common coding mechanism to channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) having a timing domain and transmit the CSI-RSs using antenna ports with high frequency separation. A user equipment (UE) may receive the CSI-RS on the channel and identify a joint correlation metric based on a frequency correlation and a spatial correlation between CSI-RS and the channel. The UE may determine a channel estimate for the channel based on the joint correlation metric.

  • Patent number: 11431405
Abstract: A method provides packet transmission of data between two terminal devices via at least one flying object. The flying objects are moving within a given swarm of flying objects and the flying objects are disposed in a grid being characterized by a number of flight paths. One flying object from the swarm of the flying objects is determined to be a reference flying object and each of the flying objects is assigned a position. Coordinate values of a receiving flying object within the swarm of the flying objects is derived from a respective data packet being transmitted. A number of sequential single transmissions for a transmittal of data between a transmitting flying object and the receiving flying object is performed. Each single transmission within the swarm of the flying objects occurs only between two respective flying objects which are topologically neighboring and in direct communication with each other.

  • Patent number: 11432369
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications above a 52.6 GHz carrier frequency, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling to obtain a cyclic shift value in time domain. The cyclic shift value is associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) antenna port (AP) of a plurality of available DM-RS APs. A single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence corresponding to the DM-RS AP is generated using a base sequence and the cyclic shift value. The single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence is encoded with uplink data for transmission to a base station using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using a carrier above the 52.6 GHz carrier frequency.

  • Patent number: 11431652
Abstract: An automated multi-fabric link aggregation system includes leaf switch devices that have leaf switch device downlink ports, that are included in a first network fabric, and that are aggregated to provide a first aggregation fabric. Each leaf switch device generates discovery communications including a first network fabric identifier for the first network fabric, and a first aggregation fabric identifier for the first aggregation fabric. The leaf switch devices then transmit the discovery communications via the leaf switch device downlink ports. I/O modules that have I/O module uplink port are included in a second network fabric and are aggregated to provide a second aggregation fabric. The I/O modules receive the discovery communications via each of the I/O module uplink ports, determine that each received discovery communication includes the first network fabric identifier and the first aggregation fabric identifier and, in response, automatically configure the I/O module uplink ports in a LAG.

  • Patent number: 11418302
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for communicating an uplink grant and a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) trigger. A wireless device may identify a pending collision for a slot of a carrier between a CSI-RS and uplink data. The wireless device may determine a communication configuration for the CSI-RS and the uplink data such that no collision occurs. The determined communication configuration for the CSI-RS may include delaying one of the colliding signals, transmitting only one of the colliding signals and suppressing the other, or reconfiguring the slot such that both signals can be transmitted successfully. Additionally, the UE and the base station may determine a CSI reporting configuration based on the determined communication configuration.
