Abstract: Provided are an erasing member which is excellent in erasability for handwritings written by means of a pencil, a mechanical pencil and the like and which does not produce eraser dusts, and an erasing tool in which a part to be erased can be visually recognized in erasing.The erasing member comprises a blend composition containing a liquid-absorbing porous material, and a basic magnesium carbonate porous material and the like can be used as the liquid-absorbing porous material. And in an erasing tool in which an erasing part is formed at one end and in which a transparent or translucent visible part making it possible to visually recognize a writing surface is provided in the vicinity of the erasing part, the erasing member described above is mounted to the erasing part, whereby the erasing tool which does not produce eraser dusts is obtained.

Abstract: A head for an oral care implement comprises at least one tooth cleaning element of a first type and at least one tooth cleaning element of a second type. The at least one tooth cleaning element of the first type has a length extension along a longitudinal axis being about 1 mm to about 2 mm longer than the length extension of the at least one tooth cleaning element of the second type along its longitudinal axis. The at least one tooth cleaning element of the first type is a tuft of a first type comprising a plurality of filaments. Each filament has a longitudinal axis and a substantially cross-shaped cross-sectional area extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The cross-shaped cross-sectional area has four projections and four channels, the projections and channels being arranged in an alternating manner. The at least one tuft of the first type has a packing factor within a range from about 40% to about 55%, preferably from about 45% to about 50%.

The utility portion has a first floating finger and a second floating finger forking off from the distal end of the handle portion and arranged at opposite lateral ends of thereof, and at least one third floating finger arranged between the first and second floating fingers. At least one or both the first and second floating fingers are free of brushing members.

Abstract: A method of making a brush includes providing a plurality of first filaments, each having a first end and a second end; bringing the plurality of first filaments into a first predetermined shape such that the first ends are arranged side by side on a common contour; fixedly connecting the first ends so that a first pre-tuft having the first predetermined shape and a connected first end is formed; bringing a second tuft element having a first end and a second end together with the first pre-tuft into a second predetermined shape such that the first end of the second tuft element and the connected first end of the first pre-tuft are arranged side by side on a common contour; fixedly connecting the connected first end of the first pre-tuft and the first end of the at least second tuft element so that a final tuft having the second predetermined shape and a connected end is formed; and attaching the final tuft to a brush body by overmolding the final tuft's connected end with a plastic material.

Abstract: A backcombing brush for backcombing hair includes an array of bristles 4. Each bristle extends from a base to a free end and two lengths of bristle are provided. Shorter bristles 4a and the bottom of longer bristles 4b carry out backcombing, whilst the longer bristles smooth hair, or untangle knots/tangles in the hair to reduce the level of backcombing. The long bristles have a relatively wide first portion 5, towards the base of the bristle, and a relatively narrow second portion 6, towards the free end of the bristle. The bristles are arranged such that bristles in one row neither extend between adjacent bristles in an adjacent row nor partially occlude the space between bristles in an adjacent row.

Abstract: Assisted dental cleaning device which allows brushing of both sides of the teeth and both arches simultaneously, in an assisted manner for all those unable to do it for themselves, not only due to age, but also due to disability or lack of motor skills, so that brushing is done by another person ensuring proper brushing all of the teeth of the person who is unable to do it for themselves. The device also allows for self-brushing where a reduction of cleaning time and an easier and more convenient brushing process of the two dental arches is sought. This is a device with specific application for the brushing of teeth for children, elderly or handicapped with disabilities or lack of upper extremities. It is also very useful for cleaning animals and pets' teeth.

The sewer cleaning machine further includes a second motor supported by the frame and coupled to the first roller. The second motor is operable to drive the track.

Abstract: An apparatus for the interdiction of periodontal disease comprising a device the size of a US quarter coin capable of being chewed by a user, and which is configured with finger protrusions having fabricated blade ends capable of removing plaque from the teeth surface and disrupting plaque accumulated in the gingivae pockets of the teeth. The device of the apparatus is additionally configured with re-fillable inserts holding hygienic formulations to limit bacterial growth and flush plaque debris out of the gingivae pockets of the teeth. Some embodiments of the device of the apparatus are wholly digestible. The device of the apparatus is portable and comes in a plurality of embodiments in different shapes, all having the basic functionality of, self-treating periodontal disease.

Abstract: A sanitizer for sliding over and sanitizing an elongated member such as a shopping cart handle includes a main body including a bottom housing and a top housing selectively interlockable with each other and defining therebetween a tunnel having a cross-sectional dimension and a general shape that match a corresponding cross sectional dimension and a shape of the elongated member. The top housing has a chamber for holding therein a sanitizing fluid dispenser that is positioned to dispense a sanitizing fluid onto the elongated member. A wiping material is disposed along the tunnel in the main body, in a position and in a manner that enables wiping the sanitizing fluid onto the elongated member as the sanitizer is slid over the elongated member.

Abstract: Hands-free devices adapted for rapid brushing, cleaning and treating users' teeth are provided. In some embodiments, such a device comprises brushes for cleaning each of a user's teeth simultaneously. In some embodiments, such a device is generally U-shaped, accepting, cleaning and/or treating all of a user's teeth simultaneously. In some embodiments, a device is adapted to fit an individual user, based on 3-dimensional imaging. Example customized fluid jets within such devices are provided, introducing dentifrices and other treatments into tooth-conforming channels. In some embodiments, specialized handles are set forth, configured for hands-free use. Example methods and modes for such devices' use are also set forth. In some embodiments, compartments and cartridges with a proprietary form factor for delivering dentifrice and other treatments and for disposing of waste without mess are provided. In some embodiments, observational data are gathered, analyzed and serve as the basis for a treatment action plan.

Abstract: The present invention describes an insulator stack cleaner to remove dust and dirt from power line transmission insulators. The cleaner autonomously cleans an insulator stack. The cleaner has two cleaning cups that counter-rotate during cleaning. The cleaner moves along an insulator stack by opening one cleaning cup while the other cup is locked onto an insulator, then the cleaner's transitional motors somersault the open cup onto the next insulator in the stack, and the open cup subsequently closes around the next insulator. A rack and pinion mechanism rotates the closed cup around an insulator and a cam mechanism opens and closes the cup around an insulator. Bristles on the cleaning cups scrub the insulators. The cleaner can be installed onto an insulator stack by a drone.

Abstract: An adhesive roller assembly is provided having a non-cylindrical roller. The non-cylindrical roller is rotatably affixed to a handle's distal end. In addition, adhesive tape is helically wrapped about the roller, and the adhesive tape includes perforations so as to facilitate the breaking of the adhesive tape into individual segments. Because the roller has a non-cylindrical circumferential surface, the adhesive tape is deformed to have a non-cylindrical exterior. The roller, and consequentially exterior of the adhesive tape, can take various forms. In preferred embodiments, the roller and tape exterior have a concave, convex, undulating, dimpled or bumpy surface. The adhesive tape is made of material providing increased elongation.

The oral care elements each form at least one return path through the first mounting surface. The plurality of oral care elements are attached to the second surface.

Abstract: A cleaning brush is provided. A cleaning unit comprises cleaning beans fixed on a surface of the carrier in a bi-spiral arrangement. The cleaning beans are arranged in an unequally-spaced manner on center of the carrier along a baseline; and, thus, bi-spirals are formed on the center and coiled in two different outward directions. Two annular spiral curve paths are formed with the cleaning beans as coiling the carrier and extending along the two directions. When the carrier cleans an electronic device, a solution or cleaning agent is discharged along the curve paths in spiral tangential directions. Hence, the bi-spiral cleaning unit obtains positive and negative directions on rotating to create a plurality of flow fields. Dirt is discharged easily with water distribution enhanced as compared to unidirectional spiral cleaning devices while a large contact surface, a good cleaning efficiency, and a high decontamination ratio are achieved.
