  • Patent number: 11480973
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes obtaining image data representing a set of images of a worksite captured by an image capture component of a mobile computing device, identifying a set of virtual markers associated with the set of images, each virtual marker having a corresponding position in one of the images, and determining, for each virtual marker, a set of coordinates in a coordinate system based on the corresponding position of the virtual marker. Based on the set of coordinates, boundary data is generated that represents a boundary on the worksite. The boundary data is communicated to a robotic mower for control of the robotic mower within an operating area defined based on the boundary.

  • Patent number: 11474524
Abstract: A robotic mower and method for controlling a robotic mower to a predetermined position, by means of a guide wire. The robotic mower includes a control unit and at least one sensor. At least one of the sensors detects a signal from the guide wire and follows the guide wire at a first distance that is randomly determined. The robotic mower follows the guide wire until detecting, by means of the at least one sensor, a signal from a boundary wire and then following the boundary wire at a second distance, which is randomly determined. When detecting that the signal strength from the guide wire falls outside a first predetermined threshold, the robotic mower starts following the guide wire again.

  • Patent number: 11472419
Abstract: Provided is a vehicle control device capable of accurately estimating a self-vehicle location with a yaw angle error occurring when a vehicle starts to travel due to an initial phase shift between pulsed waveforms of left and right wheels when the vehicle starts to travel suppressed. The vehicle control device further estimates a direction of wheel rotation while the vehicle is at a stop. A yaw angle deviation when the vehicle starts to travel is estimated and corrected on the basis of a weighted average of discrete yaw angle values obtained immediately after the vehicle starts to travel from wheel speed sensors installed on left and right non-steered wheels of the vehicle. A yaw angle while the vehicle is at a stop and a yaw angle when the vehicle starts to travel are also estimated, and the direction of wheel rotation while the vehicle is at a stop is also estimated from a difference between the yaw angles. The yaw angle and coordinates are corrected on the basis of the estimation result.

  • Patent number: 11392270
Abstract: A display of a changing operation assisting apparatus for a vehicle selectively displays various screens which include setting elements and transition elements. Each of the setting elements is previously related to a setting item relating to a driving assistance function provided by the vehicle. Each of the transition elements is previously related to a different one of the screens. If a set state corresponding to one of the elements has changed within a setting change determination period, the apparatus increases a state change value corresponding to a combination of a driver who is currently on the vehicle and the element. The apparatus displays, as a part of a specific screen, the element whose increase amount of the state change value corresponding the driver within a display determination period is equal to or greater than a threshold.
