Abstract: In a closure strip for retaining the open end of a flexible-walled container, such as a paper or plastic bag, in a closed condition, comprising one or more wire elements extending longitudinally of the strip and supported on a web of material, such as paper or plastics, the web is extending in at least one lateral direction to provide a large, substantially flat area on which information about the container contents can be enclosed.
