Abstract: An intraoral dental irrigation appliance is provided. The device can serve as a dual-purpose occlusal guard and irrigation device. The appliance can protect the teeth of the user from the damage caused by bruxism and even provide the user the ability to effectively irrigate some or all difficult areas of dentition. The appliance includes at least one port configured to receive an irrigation fluid, or irrigant. This port may attach to a fluid source like a tap, water irrigation device, or other moving fluid supply.

Abstract: A tooth bracket extraction device which comprises a motor housed within a motor housing, and a motor shaft extending from the motor. A gear cover is fastened to the motor housing, and a first shaft is coupled to the motor shaft, where the first shaft receives the drive from the motor via the motor shaft. A first gear is attached to the first shaft, and a second shaft comprises a second gear, where the second shaft is in communication with the first shaft via engagement of the second gear to the first gear. A torque generated from the motor is transferred to the second shaft, and the second shaft comprises a head receiver member which is configured to receive and mount a plurality of heads. Each head is configured to transfer the torque to a bracket section attached to teeth, thereby removing the bracket section from the teeth.

Abstract: The present invention provides an osmotic orthodontic appliance, comprising: an actuation structure forming a hollow tube filled with a supersaturated solution; a dental aligner structure mounted on the actuation structure for fixing the actuation structure on teeth; and a pumping structure connected one end of the hollow tube, comprising a semipermeable device and a supporting structure. The osmotic orthodontic appliance of the present invention could provide steady movement and force output; it is a solution for the periodic actuation problem of conventional orthodontic appliances.
