  • Patent number: 9590402
Abstract: A mounting clip for retaining a cable against a mounting surface includes a mounting flange configured to be mounted to a mounting structure, a first cable retainer, and a second cable retainer. The first cable retainer extends from the mounting flange and defines a first passage configured to receive a length of a cable therethrough. The second cable retainer extends from the mounting flange and defines a second passage configured to receive the length of cable therethrough. The second cable retainer is resiliently movable between a rest position and a loaded position. In the rest position, the second cable retainer extends into the first passage and defines the second passage smaller than the first passage.

  • Patent number: 6315249
Abstract: A cable management system (10) is disclosed for coupling and retaining cables (16) for rack-mounted electronic components. The cable management system (10) includes a cable arm (12) that can pivot between an extended position and a collapsed position to accommodate movement in the rack-mounted component. Coupled to the cable arm are cable retainers (14). Each cable retainer includes a platform (46) and prongs (42). Each prong includes a stem (48) and a tapered projection (54). The combination of the platform (46), and the stem (48) and tapered projection (54) of adjacent prongs (42) forms a cavity for receiving a cable (16). The cable arm includes a number of slots in the supports of the cable arm for receiving latches, locks, or other fasteners of the cable retainer (14) for coupling the cable retainer (14) to the cable arm (12).

  • Patent number: 6250597
Abstract: A fitting includes an annular shielding member with a rear annular wall adapted to abut against an upright wall of a bathroom to define an abutment plane, and a front annular wall formed with a front major area of a faceplate member. The front major area has a recess extending rearwardly thereof to form an impact bearing portion. A front annular portion surrounds and is connected to the impact bearing portion by an inner annular wall. The impact bearing portion has a rear bearing wall spaced apart from the abutment plane, and a front bearing wall opposite to the rear bearing wall, and defines a fastening hole through the front and rear bearing walls. A holding member includes an anchored end disposed on the rear bearing wall, and having a clamped portion adjacent to the fastening hole so as to abut against an enlarged head portion of an anchoring stud which is inserted into the upright wall.

  • Patent number: 6237886
Abstract: A vehicle light attachment mechanism is disclosed for attaching a vehicle light to a vehicle body. The attachment mechanism includes a pair of hooks arranged on the vehicle light, one of which is elastic and the other of which is non-elastic. Each hook can engage an aperture of the vehicle body in opposing directions. A positioning boss can be placed adjacent either the elastic hook or the non-elastic hook for extending through a positioning through hole on the vehicle body having a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the positioning boss. Furthermore, at least one projection boss may be provided to distance the housing and the vehicle body and spread external forces applied from the vehicle light toward the vehicle body over an outer surface of the vehicle body. At least one projection boss can also be used as a positioning boss to provide at least two positioning points in combination with said positioning boss for the housing.
