Patent number: 11979390Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for providing vendors an alternative to a password-based security system. The system and method also allows vendors to manage secure transactions by leveraging various message authentication techniques while allowing the vendor full control over related processes such as payment processing and fulfillment. The system and method also monitors message requests from customers for the vendor to guarantee that the communication has not been compromised. Consolidating the authentication of users to their messaging minimizes the need for each individual vendor to maintain their own password for access to a customer account. This eliminates the requirement that customers generate a password thus increasing convenience and decreasing security risks associated with the use of passwords. This decreases risk not only for customer and vendor but also decreases the risk exposure across the internet-as the system scales.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2018Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: SWOOP IP HOLDINGS LLCInventors: John P. Patent number: 11968200Abstract: An enterprise platform may retrieve, from a collaboration data store, information about a selected enterprise team. The enterprise platform may then transmit, from a set of integration tools to a workflow tool of a remote cloud-based environment, a data payload including a notification request associated with a channel. The enterprise platform may also transmit, from a runtime environment to a business communication platform of the cloud-based environment, a request to post a notification to the channel and arrange for a member of the selected enterprise team to receive an adaptive information card, pushed by the business communication platform via the channel, containing information associated with at least one of the integration tools. The member who receives the adaptive information card may also, via selection of a graphical icon on the card, respond to the business communication platform via bi-directional communication.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2021Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: HARTFORD FIRE INSURANCE COMPANYInventors: David Wayne Crowley, David M. Patent number: 11962638Abstract: Systems and methods related to transferring (e.g., large) files over a network are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a client-server framework establishes a QUIC connection between a server application and a client application. Source files are processed by the server application to divide the source files into a number of chunks. Differential file transfer can be implemented between the client application and the server application by comparing metadata for chunks of the source file with metadata of local chunks of a destination file already stored in a local storage associated with the client application. Missing chunks can be requested from the server application and transferred to the client application using HTTP/3 messages.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2022Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: NVIDIA CorporationInventor: Frank James Spitulski

Patent number: 11856036Abstract: A process and a computer establish a data transfer from a provider (1, 2) that provides data to a consumer (9) that uses the data. A consumer (9) transmits a request message (probe) for requested data to a communications agent (5), in response, the communications agent (5) adds an entry for the request message (probe) to a requests list (AL). Subsequently, a provider (1, 2) transmits a registration message (Hello) to the communications agent (5). The communications agent (5) searches the requests list (AL) for an entry for a request message (probe) that matches the received registration message (Hello). If a matching entry is found in the requests list (AL), the communications agent (5) initiates a data transfer from the provider (1, 2) to the consumer (9).Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2022Date of Patent: December 26, 2023Assignee: Drägerwerk AG & Co.
