  • Patent number: 11632225
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for performing a time-triggered distribution of messages from a region of networked machines to multiple destinations. In an embodiment, the system runs a software-based synchronization process to synchronize each of a plurality of gateways with a reference clock, wherein each gateway is a machine on a perimeter of the region of networked machines and is connected to transmit messages to multiple destinations. The gateways receive messages from within the region of networked machines for distribution to multiple destinations outside the region of networked machines according to a distribution schedule based on absolute time relative to the reference clock. The gateways perform the distribution of received messages, wherein each gateway determines absolute time based on that gateway's synchronization with the reference clock.

  • Patent number: 11601515
Abstract: An information handling system includes a publisher device and an offload device. Multiple subscriber devices are associated with the publisher device. The offload device communicates with the publisher device. The offload device receives a packet transmission from the publisher device, and translates a topic address of the packet transmission to multiple destination addresses. The offload device sends the packet transmission to each of the subscriber devices. Each of the subscriber devices is associated with a corresponding destination address of the multiple destination address. The offload device receives one or more acknowledgements from the subscriber devices, and combines the one or more acknowledgements into a composite completion message. The offload device sends the composite completion message to the publisher device.

  • Patent number: 11601948
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring a search space for sidelink communications between a plurality of user equipments (UEs). Particularly, the techniques described herein configure a search space (e.g., subset of all available sub-channels) to decode the sidelink packets (e.g., physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) and physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH)) transmitted between a first UE and a second UE over sidelink communication without the need for the receiver UE (e.g., second UE) to perform blind decoding of all sidelink sub-channels as is currently required in conventional systems. Thus, the disclosed techniques reduce latency and maximize the resource utilization (e.g., by using less processing power and bandwidth) for sidelink communications.

  • Patent number: 11589296
Abstract: In a network comprising both fixed transmission points and mobile transmission points, the transmission points may transmit discovery reference signals that allow WTRUs to detect and/or synchronize to the transmission points. The fixed and mobile transmission points may transmit discovery reference signals with different characteristics that allow the WTRUs to distinguish between fixed and mobile transmission points. The mobile transmission points may also transmit a separate maintenance reference signal that allows WTRUs to maintain a connection with the mobile transmission point. For networks in which fixed a mobile transmission points operate in different frequency bands, the mobile transmission points may also periodically transmit discovery beacon signals in the frequency band of the fixed transmission points to allow discovery. Conditions may be imposed on WTRUs before the WTRU will transmit to the network a measurement report reporting on a potential transmission point to which it may be switched.

  • Patent number: 11570622
Abstract: One aspect relates to initiating, by a device, a connection with an application server associated with one or more application services. A gateway derives an uplink network token and/or a downlink network token. The tokens are provisioned to the device and/or an application server over the user-plane. The tokens are included with uplink and/or downlink packets, respectively. Another aspect relates to receiving a data packet at a gateway. The gateway determines a requirement for a network token from the packet. The gateway derives the network token based on a device subscription profile maintained by a network. The network token may be sent with the packet to a destination address associated with the packet. A packet including a network token may be received at a gateway. The gateway may verify the network token and send the data packet to an application server or a device if the verifying is successful.
