The content distribution server comprises: a distribution unit that distributes live content for synthesizing video in virtual space using information from the distributor as virtual character information; and a first setting receiving unit that receives from the distributor terminal used by the distributor public disclosure restriction settings for establishing restrictions on objects present in virtual space displayed on the distributor terminal that can be viewed on a viewer terminal used by a viewer to view live content.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for identifying related media content items. First media content item is outputted on a device. A user interface input requesting media content related to the first media content item is received. Metadata is accessed for a portion of the first media content item within a predetermined time period away from a pause position of the first media content item to identify topic keyword. An offer to interrupt the first media content item to output content related to the topic keyword is displayed. In response to offer's acceptance, a portion of an identified related media content item that is associated with the identified topic keyword is identified. The portion of the identified related media content item is transmitted for display while the media content is paused. The device then resumes displaying the media content item.

Abstract: A system and method to dynamically analyze digital media and select multimedia assets or items to render with correlated IP-connected media and apps. Hierarchical Taxonomy, Engagement-based and Neural-based asset matching is rendered with rule-based and Diminishing Perspective decision-making. A user can listen, view and interact with the correlated and rendered material using an input device native to the computing device being used to access the IP-connected media. Embodiments extract features from the digital media. The extracted features are semantically analyzed for an understanding of characteristics associated with the respective features. Topics are extracted from the digital media based on the characteristics. Stored assets are correlated to the extracted topics to select an asset based on characteristics of the extracted topics correlating with the selected asset. The selected asset is rendered with the digital media.

Abstract: The present application provides an information interaction method and apparatus, and a storage medium. In the method, a server receives an interactive video uploaded by a first user terminal, and sends the interactive video to a second user terminal. That is, in the embodiments of the present application, the video is taken as a carrier of interaction between strangers, which can bear diversified user information expressions. Moreover, the server further receives processing information for the interactive video sent by the second user terminal and/or the first user terminal, and processes the interactive video according to the processing information. That is, based on the video, friendly video interaction between strangers is realized, and social experiences of strangers in social activities are improved.

Abstract: Disclosed is a joint recommendation and cache optimization method based on a collaboration of multiple base stations, each base station in a target area randomly caching contents stored to the cloud, when each base station in the target area receives a to-be-responded content request, constructing the recommendation optimization sub-model, the access optimization sub-model and the cache optimization sub-model, then constructing and solving the optimization problem to obtain the target base station, optimal cached contents and the recommendation list that correspond to the to-be-responded content request. Through the technical solution of the present application, the total time delay of the system is minimized, and by jointly optimizing the recommendation decision, access decision and cache decision, the delay can be significantly reduced with a lower cache capacity, and more efficient for users, good experience.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a graph streaming application computes a first distance along a first potential playback path between a first playback position and a first media content block. The graph streaming application then computes a first score for the first media content block based on the first distance and a first probability associated with the first potential playback path. Similarly, the graph streaming application computes a second score for a second media content block based on a second playback position, a second potential playback path, and a second probability associated with the second potential playback path. The graph streaming application compares the first score and the second score to determine that the first media content block should be buffered by a client device. The graph streaming application then causes the first media content block to be stored in a playback buffer for subsequent playback on the client device.

Abstract: Example apparatus disclosed herein are to receive a log file, compare a first media monitor identification associated with an audio signature, a second media monitor identification associated with media metadata, and a third media monitor identification associated with event metadata. Disclosed example apparatus are also to determine if a first timestamp associated with the audio signature is within a time period, wherein the time period begins with a second timestamp associated with the media metadata and ends with a third timestamp associated with the event metadata. Disclosed example apparatus are also to validate that the audio signature satisfies a threshold for being stored as a reference signature based on at least one of the media metadata, the event metadata, the first timestamp, the second timestamp, or the third timestamp. Disclosed example apparatus are also to generate the reference signature including assigning the media metadata to the audio signature.

Abstract: A mobile device responds in real time to media content presented on a media device, such as a television. The mobile device captures temporal fragments of audio-video content on its microphone, camera, or both and generates corresponding audio-video query fingerprints. The query fingerprints are transmitted to a search server located remotely or used with a search function on the mobile device for content search and identification. Audio features are extracted and audio signal global onset detection is used for input audio frame alignment. Additional audio feature signatures are generated from local audio frame onsets, audio frame frequency domain entropy, and maximum change in the spectral coefficients. Video frames are analyzed to find a television screen in the frames, and a detected active television quadrilateral is used to generate video fingerprints to be combined with audio fingerprints for more reliable content identification.

Abstract: Systems and methods for sorting favorite content sources are provided. A list of favorite content sources arranged in a first order is stored. The favorite content sources in the list are accessed according to the order of the favorite content sources in the list. At a given time, a user request to change a currently accessed content source to one of the favorite content sources in the list is received. In response to receiving the user request, an attribute of content presented on the currently accessed content source at the given time is identified. The favorite content sources in the list are rearranged into a second order based on the identified attribute. The favorite content sources in the list arc accessed according to the second order in response to receiving the user request.

Abstract: A media content management system that enables users to manage media content collections is disclosed. A media device is configured to receive requests to create media content collections for particular media content and, in response, to retrieve information related to the media content, and to generate one or more interfaces displaying information about created media content collections. In an embodiment, retrieving information related to a media content may include determining, for one or more episodes of the media content, whether the episode is available from various content sources, including both broadcast and broadband content sources. By enabling a media device to automatically retrieve and present information related to the availability of media content episodes across any number of different broadcast and broadband sources, users can more easily interact with and view information about particular media content of interest to the users.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for generating personalized recommendations based on dynamic and customized content selections and modeling of the content selections. The system may receive a request with an identifier and a query, and may obtain a particular recommendation configuration based the identifier and the query. The system may retrieve a set of content that satisfies the query and that is identified with at least one content prioritization parameter specified in the particular recommendation configuration, may generate a set of models of one or more model types that model relevance between the set of content and a different event specified in the particular recommendation configuration, and may compute a score for each content in each model based on the modeled relevance. The system may present recommended content in a different order than the set of content based on aggregate scores compiled for each content from the set of models.

Abstract: A video ingest, search and delivery solution is provided in which videos and their associated metadata are ingested based on ingest criteria. Moments in the metadata are identified by parsing comments in the metadata for comments that reference a time in the video. Moments are recorded with the referenced time and the text of the comment. Videos are rated and may be delivered to users based at least in part on the rating. Moments may be displayed together with the video by displaying the text of moments at the associated time in the video as the video is being delivered. The text of moment records may be searched based on search parameters received form a user to identify videos to deliver to the user.
