An integrated probability of a candidate word in the discourse input and one or more subclasses associated with the candidate word can be determined based on a conditional probability of the candidate word given one or more words in the discourse input, a probability of the candidate word within a corpus, and a conditional probability of the candidate word given one or more classes associated with the one or more words. A text string corresponding to the discourse input can be determined based on the integrated probability. An output based on the text string can be generated.

An NL linguistic item expresses an intent using a natural language, while a KL linguistic item expresses the intent using one or more keywords. In a training phase, the functionality produces the classification model based on query click log data or the like. In an application phase, the functionality may, among other uses, use the classification model to filter a subset of NL linguistic items from a larger set of items, and then use the subset of NL linguistic items to train a natural language interpretation model, such as a spoken language understanding model.

Instructions created by the electronic device that are based on the selection of at least one parameter are then followed by the individual.

A beamforming technique is applied to at least a portion of the audio inputs to identify target audio inputs that are associated with the target face. The target audio inputs are converted into text that is displayed via a transparent display of the head-mounted display device.
