  • Patent number: 11796623
Abstract: The present invention, Methods for RF or Acoustic Boresighting, is a collection of various methods of accounting for and correcting for the errors that occur in a receiver during signal collection, and are an extension of patent Ser. No. 10/185,022, by using Radio Frequency coupling as opposed to switches. These updated methods enable a means to ensure a collected signal can be calibrated at any point during the signal collection period without having to cease signal collection in order to switch in a reference signal. These methods also account for signal bandwidth and signal type, including wideband, pulse, and continuous signals.

  • Patent number: 11763635
Abstract: In certain embodiments, social distancing is implemented at a gaming establishment (such as a casino) by disabling one or more neighboring gaming machines from being played while a first patron is playing at a first gaming machine. Social grouping is implemented by enabling a second patron who is in a social group with the first patron to play at one of the neighboring gaming machines, while the first patron is playing at the first gaming machine. In some implementations, a gaming system of the gaming establishment controls which gaming machines are disabled. In other implementations, patrons' cell phones running a gaming app communicate directly with the gaming machines to disable the neighboring gaming machines while enabling patrons in the same social group to play at neighboring gaming machines. In some implementations, play at a gaming machine is prevented by temporarily disabling the gaming machine's bill validator.

  • Patent number: 11752427
Abstract: A computing system obtains a video of a video game being played, where an esports competition includes play of the video game by a video game player. The computing system identifies, in the video and through use of machine vision technologies, occurrence of an event in the video game depicted in the video, where the machine vision technologies have been trained to detect occurrences of the event in videos, and further where an outcome of the esports competition is based upon the occurrence of the event in the video game. The computing system also outputs a value that is indicative of the occurrence of the event in the video game depicted in the video, where a score for the video game player is updated in the esports competition based upon the value.

  • Patent number: 11738238
Abstract: This invention is used to control the duration of time it takes to charge any device, depending on how many units the user has taken out of their fitness goal. This invention connects to a fitness device such as a smart watch and retrieves the amount of units the user has completed. Being conditional on how many units the user has taken, the device will either charge at a normal pace or proportionally slower. For example, if the user's daily goal was 10,000 units and they completed 5,000 units, their device would charge half its normal pace. This invention charges the device more slowly by pausing the charges for periods of time.

  • Patent number: 11727429
Abstract: Disclosed is a method, a device, and/or a system of validation of opportunity completion criteria submitted by an authenticated user claiming a reward upon completing a task from an opportunity feed. In one embodiment, a device for validating transactions triggering association of a reward with a user profile upon completion of a task includes an authentication module and a completion criteria engine. A set of computer readable instructions, when executed, receive a completion data generated upon completion of the task described in an opportunity feed stored on a computing device of the user. The completion data is associated with an opportunity profile and specifies the reward for the completion of the task as determined through meeting an opportunity completion criteria. The device then validates the completion data by comparison to the opportunity completion criteria, references the reward, and associates the reward with the user profile.
