Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to systems and methods to provide graphical user interfaces in computer-implemented multiplayer games. The graphical user interface includes a friends panel that is operable between a collapsed condition and an expanded condition. The friends panel provides friends information display functionality, social network management functionality, and/or messaging functionality both in the collapsed condition and in the expanded condition. In the collapsed condition, the friends panel may comprise a friends bar that shows a row of friend cards or chiclets associated with respective friends of a host player associated with a displayed game instance, the friends bar being clear of a view of a virtual in-game environment shown in the game display, while the expanded friends panel may comprise a grid of friend cards or chiclets that functionally obscures the in-game environment.
Abstract: A display device for spreading a turkey's tail feathers in a fan-like display is provided. The device consists of a U-shape with 3 rubber quill clips, 1 located at the top, 1 located on one end of the device and 1 located on remaining end of the device. The rubber clips allow the quills in the middle of the fan as well as the quills near the base on opposite sides to be used to hold the turkey fan in a set position. When installed the device is invisible to view. This device is a multipurpose toot and can be used for taxidermy use in preserving the turkey fan. This device may be used as a mounting mechanism for wall display. A mounting mechanism may further be provided for the mounting of an object to the turkey fan such as the beard, or a pole for the use of the fan as a decoy in the field or a mount on the wall or shelf.
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and a method for the risk management through ratio scale measures. The present invention identifies the risk of occurrence of events, develops ratio scale measures for impact of events and likelihood of events and deriving the risk of the events by multiplying the ratio scale measures for impacts with the ratio scale measures for likelihoods of the identified risk events. The ratio scale measures for impact of risk events is the sum-product of the ratio scale measures of the importance of the objectives and ratio scale measures of the impact of associated risk events on the objectives. The ratio scale measures for likelihoods of risk events is the sum-product of the probabilities of the identified causes times the probability of the risk events given the identified causes.
Abstract: A system and method for selling pre-printed instant-winner lottery tickets by use of a central computer communicating with widely-distributed enclosed vending machines and other terminals, with each ticket providing a traditional instant-winner game with a chance for an added instant-winner progressive jackpot prize. The identification code printed on each ticket is read by a code reader, after the ticket has been issued from a vending machine or selected from an accessible display of inactive tickets, and the computer determines whether the ticket is a progressive jackpot winner, and notifies the terminal at which the ticket is a processed of the win or loss. If the ticket has not been activated, the computer activates it. If necessary, the computer also supplies play data to be printed on the ticket or separate paper, or displayed to complete the traditional game and indicate the winning or loss of that game as well.
Abstract: A method for providing highly accurate coordinates and elevation of a remote terrestrial-based location is described. The method also provides for the determination of a number of high-accuracy values including the location and elevation of the point of observation, and the distance and bearing from the point of observation to the remote location. Also described is a method for compensating for unknown effects of the associated atmospheric refractivity, and errors in input data.
Abstract: The present invention combines aspects of social media with traditional lottery games. In one aspect, the present invention provides a lottery game for drawing-based and instant-based games, where the numbers or icons that are traditionally used are replaced by player profiles.

Abstract: A method and program product includes accessing a customer account on a server system. A revolving list of tasks associated with the customer account is received. The revolving list of tasks at least includes a plurality of businesses and at least one action to be completed for each business. The plurality of businesses are selected by the server system from a group of associated businesses using a selection algorithm. The selection algorithm at least in part uses a random selection. A completion of a one of the tasks is communicated, wherein the server system removes the task from the list creating an empty slot, and assigns a reward to the customer account.
Abstract: Systems and methods for learning one or more subject areas. The methods may comprise an interactive outline learning system, in which the subject area may be organized into one or more multi-layered outlines, and lines may connect elements in each layer with related elements in adjacent layers. Each layer of the outline may correspond to one or more steps in the analysis of a question presented about the subject area. The systems may include a user interface component which may receive input comprising a first selection of an element from the first level of the outline, and then selections from subsequent layers of the outline. The methods may include determining whether each selection correctly corresponds with a step in the analysis of the question, and may visually indicate the correct element and/or connecting lines in response to a correct selection.
Abstract: A ridesharing with a surprise destination based on a reservation is disclosed. A user can request a ridesharing service for the reservation. The request may include a set of ridesharing preferences. The pickup location for the ridesharing service to pickup the user is determined along with a pickup time before the reservation time based on the ridesharing preferences. The system may request a ridesharing vehicle to pick the user at the pickup location and deliver the user to the surprise destination. Furthermore, a driver of the ridesharing vehicle may be instructed not to reveal the surprise destination. Furthermore, an application associated with the ridesharing may hide a set of revealing information for the reservation. Upon determining the ridesharing vehicle has reached the surprise destination based on the reservation, the reservation may be revealed. Furthermore, the ridesharing vehicle may pickup additional users.
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and computing devices are described herein for restoring gameplay by replaying past inputs. During gameplay, capture logic captures participant inputs that were received to change states of game objects. The capture logic stores the captured information in an electronic record of period(s) of the gameplay. After the period(s) of gameplay, replay logic receives a request to initiate subsequent gameplay beginning from a point in time from a period of past gameplay. The replay logic causes the subsequent gameplay to begin from the point at least in part by loading saved state information and replaying the captured participant inputs.
