  • Patent number: 11965673
Abstract: An air purifier (100) includes a detection unit (130) and a control unit (110). The detection unit (130) periodically detects environment information. The environment information indicates information relating to an environment around the air purifier (100). The control unit (110) determines whether or not the environment information satisfies a specific condition a plurality of times during the specific time period (Ts) corresponding to an event within a prescribed period (Ta). In a case where the control unit (110) determines that the environment information satisfies the specific condition a plurality of times, the control unit switches a mode from a learning mode to an implementation mode. In the implementation mode, in a case where the environment information meets a trigger during the specific time period, the control unit (110) performs event operational control.

  • Patent number: 11934951
Abstract: A control apparatus for performing predetermined control for a predetermined system using reinforcement learning detects an event in a life cycle of the predetermined system and, in response to the detection of the event, set an exploration parameter specified in accordance with the detected event as a value for adjusting a ratio of exploration in the reinforcement learning. The control apparatus executes the predetermined control using the reinforcement learning in accordance with the set exploration parameter. When a first event is detected, the control apparatus sets the exploration parameter so that makes the ratio of the exploration set during a first period after the first event is smaller than the ratio of the exploration set during a second period before the first event is detected.

  • Patent number: 11921472
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products are disclosed to determine when a portable electronic device is moved within an enclosed space. A processor and memory may control a sensor may store code executable by the processor to measure a parameter at an inlet of the computing device. The parameter may include an airflow rate, an air temperature at the inlet, and/or a current supply to a fan of the computing device. The processor may execute code to determine when the parameter at the inlet reaches a threshold. When the processor determines that the measured parameter has reached the threshold, a signal from the sensor to the processor and/or from the processor to an operator may be sent, indicating that the threshold has been reached.

  • Patent number: 11916384
Abstract: Embodiments for power generation include defining a power tile within a power distribution network having a grid of power rails, the power tile having logic gates, and applying an initial power grid pattern from a plurality of power grid patterns for the power tile such that initial power grid pattern relates to timing characteristics of the logic gates of the power tile. The power grid patterns each have a different number of connectors connecting one power rail to another power rail in the grid of power rails. A subsequent power grid pattern is selected from the power grid patterns for the power tile such that the subsequent power grid pattern meets a threshold condition for the timing characteristics of the logic gates of the power tile. The timing characteristics for the logic gates are determined based on a voltage drop associated with the subsequent power grid pattern.

  • Patent number: 11897203
Abstract: Arrangement of the parts, particularly addressing arrangement for 3D fabrication, makes use of spatial frequency domain representations of the parts, such that acceptable (or optionally desirable) relative locations (and optionally orientations) of a part relative to another part or an arrangement of multiple other parts makes use of spatial frequency domain representations of the parts. In some examples, acceptable relative locations may be defined as relative locations that do not result in parts spatially overlapping and/or maintain a desired (e.g., minimum, average, etc.) separation between parts.

  • Patent number: 11892737
Abstract: Certain embodiments are directed to control methods, window controllers, and uninterruptible power supplies for determining tinting instructions for optically switchable windows to reduce power usage at a site during a reduced power event. In some cases, reduced power operations are initiated by a window controller upon receipt of a trigger signal from an uninterruptible power supply sent when it detects a power loss. In some cases, tinting instructions are based on the remaining charge left on the uninterruptible power supply. In some cases, reduced power operations are delayed for a period of time.

  • Patent number: 11883895
Abstract: A plasma cutting system for measuring or monitoring the voltage between a plasma torch and the material being cut to determine a voltage or voltage signature and comparing that measurement against predetermined values to indicate that an initial pierce of the material is complete, and based on the measurement, moving the torch or the material to a different location for additional cutting. The system further provides a Fix Drawing Tool, which will automatically detect and fix gaps or overlaps in a drawing that are very difficult to find visually. These gaps and overlaps become a problem when trying to make a proper toolpath because a CAM program requires a clean, closed shape. The system also provides a Dynamic Corner Looping system, which automatically adjusts with the feed-rate and accelerations of the toolpath and plasma machine, eliminates unwanted dross, sharpens corners and minimizes material loss. A pendant tethering system is also disclosed for managing control of a CNC machine remotely.
