  • Patent number: 11263172
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and/or computer system improves a future efficiency of a specific system. One or more processors receive multiple historical data snapshots that describe past operational states of a specific system. The processor(s) identify a time series pattern for the time series of data in the multiple historical snapshots and calculate their variability. The processor(s) then determine that the variability in a first sub-set of the time series pattern is larger than a predefined value, and determine that future values of the first set of the time series pattern are a set of non-forecastable future values. The processor(s) also determine that the variability in a second sub-set of the time series pattern for the data is smaller than the predefined value, and utilizes this second sub-set to modify the specific system at a current time.

  • Patent number: 11188519
Abstract: A server computer system for parsing non-uniformly presented data from a variety of unique non-uniform third-party web portals can comprise a scripting processor configured to automatically execute a web-portal specific script for each of the one or more third-party web portals accessed by a network communication device. Each of the web-portal specific scripts can be configured to imitate inputs from a user input device and to automatically adapt interactions with each of the one or more third-party web portals to access and parse data elements from one or more non-uniformly available data fields. Further, the server computer system can comprise a database processor configured to compare a first set of data received from the one or more non-uniformly available data fields with a second set of data, which is stored within the local database device.

  • Patent number: 11169962
Abstract: In a server (111), an updater (201) updates a file by an editing process that includes an adding process that adds a record to the end of a file. A collector (202) reads, in order of location in the file, a record included in the file, causes a collection device of a collection system to associate and collect the record and a position of the record in the file, and non-transitorily stores the position as an offset. An estimator (203) estimates whether header records located between the beginning of the file and the recorded offset are updated. When it is estimated that any of the header records are updated, a starter (204) causes the collector (202) to start reading the record from the beginning of the file. When it is estimated that none of the header records have been updated, the starter 204 causes the collector (202 to start reading the record from the recorded offset.

  • Patent number: 11157524
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for providing a notification of an anomaly in a media content that is associated with an event type. For example, a method may include a processing system including at least one processor for detecting a first anomaly from a first media content, generating a first anomaly signature for the first anomaly, obtaining a notification of a first event, the notification including an event type, time information, and location information of the first event, correlating the first anomaly to the notification of the first event, and labeling the first anomaly signature with the event type. The processing system may further detect a second anomaly from a second media content that matches the first anomaly signature and transmit a notification of a second event of the event type when it is detected that the second anomaly matches the first anomaly signature.

  • Patent number: 11113309
Abstract: A device may receive information for an attribute to include in a shared attribute library. The information may include an attribute identifier, data variables needed to compute a value of the attribute, and source code for computing the value of the attribute. The source code may be written in a first programming language. The device may receive a first request to compute the value of the attribute based on a first set of data variables from a first type of data application and a second request to compute the value of the attribute based on a second set of data variables from a second type of data application that is different than the first type of data application. The device may select a computing server, which may execute the first programming language, to compute the value of the attribute based on the first and second sets of data variables.

  • Patent number: 11113342
Abstract: Improved crawling and curation of data and metadata from diverse data sources is described. In some embodiments, improvements are achieved by interpreting the context, vocabulary and relationships of data element, to enable relational data search capability for users. The user querying process is improved by systematic identification of the data objects, context, and relationships across data objects and elements, aggregation methods and operators on the data objects and data elements as identified in the curation process. User query suggestions and recommendations can be adjusted based on the context, relationships between the data elements, user profile, and the data sources. When the user query is executed, the query text is translated into an equivalent of one or more query statements, such as SQL or PostGre statements, and the query is performed on the identified data sources. Results are assembled to present the answer in a meaningful visualization for the user query.

  • Patent number: 11094397
Abstract: Techniques for securely encoding, communicating, and comparing genomic information using probabilistic data structures are provided. In some embodiments, genomic information in a secure computing environment may be encoded and/or anonymized by building a probabilistic data structure that represents sub-strings of the genomic information as members of a set; the probabilistic data structure may then be securely transmitted outside the secure computing environment. In some embodiments, a probabilistic data structure representing sub-strings of sensitive genomic information as members of a set may be received in an unsecure computing environment and may be queried to generate output data indicating whether reference sub-strings are probable members of the set.

  • Patent number: 11048752
Abstract: Social media content items are mapped to relevant time-based media events. These mappings may be used as the basis for multiple applications, such as ranking of search results for time-based media, automatic recommendations for time-based media, prediction of audience interest for media purchasing/planning, and estimating social interest in the time-based media. Social interest in time-based media (e.g., video and audio streams and recordings) segments is estimated through a process of data ingestion and integration. The estimation process determines social interest in specific events represented as segments in time-based media, such as particular plays in a sporting event, scenes in a television show, or advertisements in an advertising block. The resulting estimates of social interest also can be graphically displayed.
