Abstract: A method, system and apparatus configured to correct a non-compliant, excessive gap condition between a door bottom and a finished floor. One example system may include a channel assembly attached to the bottom edge of the door, wherein the channel assembly includes at least one moving component configured to accommodate uneven door bottom gaps across the width of the door and an uneven floor condition.
Abstract: A drop down seal is provided which has a channel-shaped external support profile configured to be fixed to a base of a panel of a door or window, a rod-shaped support element slidably housed in the channel-shaped external support profile and a movable element connected to the rod-shaped support element by a parallelogram articulation mechanism allowing the movable element to move in height between a raised rest position and a lowered working position. The movable element, when in the raised rest position, is also operationally and removably connected to the channel-shaped external support profile. The rod-shaped support element, at a proximal end thereof, forms, or is provided with, a laterally protruding control portion configured to be engaged by a trigger base fixed to an abutment surface.
Abstract: A system, device, kit, assembly and methods for a frame assembly, including a door sill as shown and described. The assembly may be a door frame assembly and may, by way of example, be a door jamb and/or a door mullion including a door sill. In other embodiments, a door sill includes a base component having a slot, a deck component having a segment, and wherein the segment component press-fits within the slot to adjoin the base component and the deck component. Some inventions of the present disclosure may be considered a door sill having a press-fit removable deck.
Abstract: A passage barrier includes two guide elements that define a gate region, through which a person passes from an entrance region into a passage region. At least one barrier element prevents and/or enables the passage of the person from the entrance region into the passage region within the gate region. At least one of the guide elements includes a profile attachment element for attaching at least one profile of a guide element to the base of a building structure. The profile attachment element has a vertical profile mount for mounting a vertically running profile on the profile attachment element and a horizontal profile feedthrough for feeding a horizontally running profile through the profile attachment element.
