Abstract: Methods of producing sugar cane transplant units that includes planting sugar cane propagation materials in a non-segregated planting medium to produce a sugar cane where the planting of the sugar cane propagation materials results in an emerged plant density of 25 to 200 plants per square meter; growing the sugar plant to an age of at least 4 months; harvesting the stalks of the sugar cane plant when the stalks have a length of 10 to 100 centimeters; cutting the harvested stalks into stalk segments, wherein the stalk segments are cut to a length of 1 to 5 centimeters; and planting one or more of the stalk segments into a planting container that has a volume from 10 to 200 cubic centimeters.

Abstract: Methods of Amaranthus control are provided, comprising, artificially pollinating an Amaranthus species at a growth area with an effective amount of pollen that reduces fitness of the at least one Amaranthus species, the effective amount comprising 1 mg to 1 gram per plant per application using a precision tool-assisted application or 10 gram to 100 kg per acre per application using a non-precision tool-assisted application during a flowering season of the Amaranthus species.

Abstract: A new and distinct variety of shrub rose plant, referred to by its cultivar name, ‘SRPylwko’, is disclosed. The new variety forms attractive, single yellow-colored flowers. Attractive semi-glossy foliage is formed, which contrasts beautifully with the blossoms. A very bushy and rounded growth habit is displayed. The new variety is well suited for providing attractive ornamentation in the landscape.
