In response to determining that the sensor device has second bandwidth data to output to the hub device at a second bandwidth, the processing circuitry is configured to output a second wireless connection request to the hub device using the first wireless connection. In response to the hub device outputting information for establishing a second wireless connection with the sensor device, the processing circuitry is configured to establish the second wireless connection for a second wireless protocol different from the first wireless protocol. The processing circuitry is configured to output, at the second bandwidth, the second bandwidth data to the hub device using the second wireless connection. The second bandwidth is greater than the first bandwidth.

Respective values for the composite indicator can be assigned in response to comparisons of the multiple signal strength indicators to one or more defined threshold(s). An idle time metric of the first channel can be determined based on a combination of the respective values and a best channel from among the group of frequency channels can be determined based on the idle time metric. The communication module can be updated to communicate via the best channel.

    Abstract: A system and method for soft locking on an ingress port of a networking device in a network, such as a network-on-chip (NoC). Once a soft lock is established, the port is given transmitting priority so long has the port has an available packet or packet parts that can make forward progress in the network. When the soft lock port's packet parts, which can make forward progress in the network, are not available, the networking device may choose another port. The system transmits packet parts from the other port until the soft locked port has packet parts available that can make forward progress in the network. Any arbitration scheme may be used to select the port that is soft locked and to select the other ports to transmit from when the soft locked port does not have packet parts that can make forward progress in the network. Once the packet (or all the packet parts) on the soft locked port has completed transmission, the soft lock of the soft locked port is released.

During a first portion of the mTXOP, the first WLAN device allocate subordinate transmission opportunities (sub-TXOPs) for use by other WLAN devices during a second portion of the mTXOP. The allocation of sub-TXOPs may be prepared based on fairness considerations, latency considerations, or both. In some implementations, a sub-TXOP may be allocated for a non-WLAN device, such as a wireless wide area network (WWAN) apparatus.

The spatially multiplexed uplink channels may then be simultaneously transmitted by the UE on the set of resources, where the spatially multiplexed uplink channels may be simultaneously sent to the same base station or to different base stations. The UE determines whether there are any other signals colliding or that may conflict with its transmission of SRS on a new carrier and resolves any apparent collision or conflict using a combination of signal, timing, or processing configuration prioritization. The SRS may be transmitted when conditions allow the UE to tune to the other carrier and tune back before any higher priority transmissions are scheduled.
