Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods herein relate to generating a machine learning model for providing access to earned income. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The processor may be configured to receive calibration datasets including (1) historical time data indicating time worked by a set of users and (2) historical earnings data indicating earnings made by the set of users. The processor may be configured to construct, based on the calibration datasets, a model for identifying anomalous data. The processor may be configured to receive, from a compute device associated with an entity, raw data for a current time period. The processor may be configured to process the raw data by removing anomalous data to produce processed data. The processor may be configured to determine an available balance for each user from the set of users based on the processed data.

Abstract: Examples provide a system for dynamic allocation of supplemental space to items based on predicted variable demand. Item data is analyzed using a set of item selection criteria to identify an item located within a predetermined distance of available flex-space associated with a topstock shelf which has a predicted time-supply predicted to be less than a threshold time-supply during a predicted time-period. A portion of flex-space sufficient to increase the time-supply enough to meet the predicted increase in demand is identified. Additional instances of the item are assigned to the portion of the flex-space during the predetermined time-period. When an expiration date for the flex-space assignment occurs, remaining instances of the item in the portion of the flex-space are removed. The portion of the flex-space is assigned to a next item predicted to experience temporary context-dependent increased demand exceeding time-supply and/or capacity of permanent display space of the item.

Abstract: One or more load cells measure the weight of items on a shelf or other fixture. Weight changes occur as items are picked from or placed to the fixture. Output from the load cells is processed to produce denoised data. The denoised data is processed to determine event data representative of a pick or a place of an item. Hypotheses are generated using information about where particular types of items are stowed, the weights of those particular types of items, and the event data. A high scoring hypothesis is used to determine interaction data indicative of the type and quantity of an item that was added to or removed from the fixture. If ambiguity exists between hypotheses, additional techniques such as data about locations of weight changes and fine grained analysis may be used to determine the interaction data.

Abstract: A computer-based technology is provided to optimize a warehouse space, such as warehouse racks. The technology determines a storage duration of a pallet in a warehouse, and further determines an optimal storage location for the pallet in the warehouse. For example, the technology can determine how long an inbound pallet will stay in a warehouse, and locate an optimal area of the warehouse to store the pallet. Such an optimal pallet storage area is selected to reduce labor costs in transporting the pallet in, within, and out of the warehouse and further optimize the management of multiple pallets in the warehouse as a whole. In addition, the technology can consider the size of the pallet in determining the optimal storage location in the warehouse.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for dynamic modification of interruptibility settings of network-accessible resources are disclosed. A system includes a resource manager and a plurality of resource instances, each of which has an interruptibility setting. In response to an instance acquisition request, the resource manager allocates an instance with a first interruptibility setting, allowing the resource manager to revoke the client's access to the instance without a notification. In response to an approval of an interruptibility upgrade request, the resource manager modifies the interruptibility setting to a second setting that allows the client to retain access to the instance for at least a specified time. Respective billing amounts for the client's use of the instance are determined for each of the interruptibility settings used.

Abstract: Disclosed is an estimation method for a whole life cycle cost of a power battery in echelon utilization. In this method, echelon utilization grades are established for the power battery according to an SOH of the power battery; a whole battery capacity model is constructed corresponding to the echelon utilization grades; a cost model is constructed corresponding to the echelon utilization grades; and a variation trend of the whole life cycle cost of the power battery is estimated according to the echelon utilization grades for the power battery, the power battery capacity model and the cost model, and a result of estimation is outputted.

Abstract: A smart meal ordering method comprises: conducting body sensing of a diner by a body sensing hardware of a smart meal ordering device; outputting a meal ordering interface by a display screen of a smart meal ordering device in response to sensing that the diner has taken a seat, and obtaining information of one or more dishes selected by the diner on the meal ordering interface; and in response to sensing that the diner has left the seat, sending a total price of the dishes and identification information of the smart meal ordering device to a server.

The method includes adjusting a price for which inventory allocated to that respective re-seller is to be sold by depending on said data relating to the sales performance of the respective re-sellers and/or re-allocation inventory items from that said respective re-seller to other respective re-sellers. Abstract: A computer-implemented method of managing online bookings for transportation services inventory is provided. The computer-implemented method links, via a computerized network, each item in the transportation services inventory with one of a plurality of online distributions channels by allocating the item to the respective online distribution channel. Furthermore, the computer-implemented method receives, from each of a plurality of online distribution channels in real time via the computerized network, sale data pertaining to the online bookings for the items in the transportation services inventory allocated to the respective online distribution channel. The computer-implemented method processes the sale data by carrying out calculations to obtain a performance rating for each of the respective online distribution channels.

Abstract: A method and system is provided for displaying and updating electronic information on a display device. In an exemplary aspect, the method includes storing first and second digital information relating to first and second products, respectively, and transmitting this information to a display device to be displayed thereon by user interface pages navigable by a user. Moreover, the method includes determining a current page that is being displayed on the display device and determining whether either the first digital information or the second digital information product is being displayed on the current page. When the current page is displaying the first digital information, the method transmits unscheduled updates of the first digital information, such that the current page dynamically displays updated first digital information. Alternatively, when the current page is not displaying the second digital information, the method transmits scheduled updates of the second digital information.

Abstract: A charge calculation apparatus, system and method allow for a controller to administer an electric power charging operation to one or more client devices, such as an electric vehicle. The vehicle provides its ID to the controller, which in turn calculates a tax according to the vehicle making the request, and other factors such as taxing jurisdiction, amount of electricity used, timing, etc. By controlling the charging operation in this way, the taxing authorities are able to collect tax revenue for use in maintaining roads from the users of those roads by monitoring which vehicles are using electricity to operate the vehicles on the roads. By keeping track of the vehicle's movement within different tax jurisdictions, the tax may be apportioned amongst the different taxing authorities.

Abstract: A method of providing secure ledger distribution for interbank settlement includes maintaining a first consensus layer in a mainchain among a plurality of nodes of the centralized computer system and a second consensus layer in a first private sidechain among at least one node of the centralized computer system and computer systems of at least a first sender bank and a first receiver bank, each of which have an account with the central bank. A first transaction is received from the computer system of the first sender bank as a first payment request. It is determined that the first transaction is valid and consensus is reached on a distributed ledger in the mainchain. A first finality proof for the first transaction is forwarded to the first private sidechain. The first transaction is added to a first private ledger accessible only within the first private sidechain.

In various embodiments, a system for conducting a transaction can comprise an accessory device having an accessory device module and a hardware component, where the accessory device can have various accessory device capabilities. The system can further comprise a mobile device SDK incorporated into the client application and in communication with the accessory device, where the mobile device SDK includes an accessory conversion module in communication with the accessory device module and where the mobile device SDK provides data to the client application. The client application can request accessory device information and receive accessory device capabilities, and the transaction data for the transaction can be provided in a defined structure between the accessory device and the client application via the mobile device SDK.
