Abstract: A blister pack for tablets or capsules having a flexible plastic sheet (1) thermoformed to define a plurality of open faced pockets (2) each pocket being shaped to receive an individual tablet or capsule, the open faces of the pockets being closed by a sheet of aluminum foil heat sealed to the plastic sheet, characterized in that hinge means (5) are provided across the pack on a line about which the pack is substantially symmetrical, the two halves of the pack on either side of the hinge being adapted to be folded together with the area of aluminum foil of each said halves overlying the other whereby the aluminum foil is protected from accidental damage that might be caused by contact with a hard object, resealable fastening means (6,7) being provided to maintain the pack in a folded configuration.

Abstract: A disk storage box including a cover, which has an inside elongated locating block and a stop block with symmetrical series of steps securely fixed to the elongated locating block, and a case body, which has an outer track at one side, an elongated side opening at an opposite side remote from the elongated rail, and a transverse gap through the close bottom side thereof adjacent to the elongated side opening, wherein the cover is covered on the case body when the stop block is inserted into said outer track; the cover can be turned upside-down to hold the case body in the open position for easy access of storage disks by inserting the elongated locating block and the stop block into the elongated side opening and the transverse gap, permitting storage disks to be partially pushed out of the case body for easy access.

Abstract: A basket-style carrier with means for maintaining the carrier open during loading. The carrier includes a retainer tab foldably connected to at least one end panel of the carrier. When the tab is folded inwardly transversely of the end panel, it maintains the carrier in open condition until the articles being loaded reach the tabs. At that point the articles themselves are able to maintain the carriers open. Continued insertion of the articles during loading causes the articles to fold the tabs up against the inside face of the end panel sections.

Abstract: A basket-style carrier for packaging six bottles or other articles in two adjacent rows. Partition panels connected to opposite side panels are formed from partition flaps foldably connected to the upper edge of the side panels of the carrier. The partition flaps are adhered to the side panels and the partition panels are adhered to the central handle panel.

Abstract: A basket-style article carrier for carrying nonbreakable articles. A divider strap is connected to and extends between opposite side panels. The strap is connected to the side panels by a glue flap at each end, one of which is connected by fold line to the upper edge of the associated side panel. The strap causes the carrier to resist bowing when an article is removed, thereby preventing excessive sagging which otherwise tends to allow the remaining articles in the carrier to fall out.

Abstract: A thermally insulating and cushioning inflatable and deflatable packaging for shipping or storing items, such as cold articles and the like, formed of thin film valve-inflatable chambers or envelopes preferably of high emissivity and low absorptivity coefficients material and provided with interior inflating-expandable honeycomb-like or cellular baffles adhered in collapsed or closed position to the interior walls of the inflatable chambers; and novel methods of making the same, including incorporating, outer shipping envelopes or bags.

Abstract: A system for packaging at least a pair of containers each having an openable portion such as a flip top. A first holder is utilized with respect to the first container and includes a first member for at least partially surrounding the first container openable portion. A second holder is also provided and includes a second member for at least partially surrounding the second container openable portion. The first and second holders are connected to one another in a separably sealing manner to form an abutment between the openable portions of the first and second containers. A handle extends from the connected first and second holders.

Abstract: In a cigarette packet of the type with a hinged lid composed of a rigid box and a soft inner wrapping directly enveloping the cigarettes, the lid end is reinforced internally by a frame lodged between the wrapping and the box, and the packet often assembled with a leaflet or coupon inserted between the frame and the wrapping. To ensure that the coupon does not slip out of place as assembly operations proceed, the frame or the coupon itself is fashioned with at least one slot position to interlock with a corresponding part of the coupon or the frame, accordingly.

Abstract: A container for storing objects is disclosed. The container includes a housing, a lid, a tray, and a lift mechanism. The lid is pivotally attached to the housing. The tray is pivotally attached within the housing and is adapted to removably secure objects thereon. The tray pivots about an axis generally transverse to the pivot axis of the lid. A lift mechanism is coupled between the tray and the lid for lifting at least a portion of the tray upon opening of the lid. In one embodiment, the lift mechanism includes a lift arm and a lift member. The lift arm is secured to the lid. The lift member is pivotally coupled to the lift arm and coupled to the tray. In another embodiment, a spring and retraction arm are used as the lift mechanism. A line coupled between the lid and tray is also disclosed.

Abstract: A storage case for flat, uniformly shaped quadrilateral objects such as floppy disks includes a rectangular box like lid and base portions hinged to both sides of a central spine portion. Inside each of the base and lid portions two pair of ribs are provided for firmly gripping a floppy disk, or the like, inserted therein. The ribs may include a pressure applying first rib opposed to a top gripping second rib for added security. A central spine of the case includes additional ribs for grippingly engaging a third floppy disk which may thus be held separately from the disks inserted in the base and lid such that three disks may be securely held without rattling. The edges of the case are provided with three closing members corresponding to three engaging members to assure secure closure and, in addition, mating edges of the side wall portions may be formed at compatible angles which interlock in a closed condition of the case preventing plastic deformation thereof when the case is carried.

A partition panel connected to opposite side panels is formed from a cutout in the body of a central handle panel. The layout, glue pattern and partition panel formation permits the carrier to be rapidly formed.

Abstract: A new and improved picnic cooler comprised of an insulated container having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The exterior surface of a front wall has two securement clasps theresecured. The interior surface of the front wall and of the interior surface of a back wall have a plurality of securement shelves secure thereto. Contained in the device is a lid having a front edge and a back edge. The back edge is hingedly secured to an upper portion of the back wall of the insulated container. The lid covers the insulated container in a closed configuration. The front edge of the lid is engaged by the two securement clasps of the insulated container when in the closed configuration. The lid has a carrying handle secured thereto. A plurality of adjustable racks are removably secured to the plurality of securement shelves of the insulated container.

Abstract: A carton for holding a variety of products characterized by improved closure construction and display characterized by a back panel with a pair of side panels attached thereto, including a bottom portion for holding a product in place and further characterized by a strap located above the lower front panel adapted to traverse the contained product and latched on the back of the carton to hold the product in place for display and sale.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a compact disk enclosure having an improved mounting hub for engaging a centralized hole in a compact disk. The hub may be molded directly onto base for securing the disk thereon, or alternatively, the hub may be molded into a tray which is adapted to be inserted and secured to the base portion of the enclosure. In a preferred embodiment, the hub engages substantially an entire circumference of the centralized disk hole. The hub structure generally includes cylindrical wall extending upward from a base portion of the enclosure. A plurality of radial slits extend radially outward from a center of the cylindrical wall for dividing the cylindrical wall into gripping teeth for engaging the centralized disk hole.

Abstract: A roller blade wheel caddy including a plurality of stations for individually storing a plurality of disassembled roller blade wheel assemblies each including a roller blade wheel, a pair of roller blade bearings for rotatably mounting the wheel on a shaft, and a tubular bearing spacer for axially spacing the bearings on the shaft. Each of the stations includes a wheel well of a predetermined magnitude for receiving a wheel, an associated wheel bearing well which has a substantially reduced magnitude, and an associated spacer storage member for storing the spacer associated with the wheel. Indicia is provided for indicating a predetermined rotational sequence for the roller blade assemblies. A wheel assembly peg is provided for use in assembling the parts and a storage well is also provided for storing miscellaneous parts.

Abstract: A dispensing apparatus for housing a stacked supply of hooks which permits the individual withdrawal of a lowermost hook from the stack. A dispensing apparatus provides a chamber having an open top, a rear wall, two side walls, a front wall, a spaced floor providing a gap between the floor and the front wall, the front wall providing a longitudinal opening transversing the wall, the opening permitting the passage of a loop portion of each hook.

Abstract: For mounting in a notebook having outer covers and a spine, a sheet of clips comprises: a frame having inner and outer side rims, top and bottom cross rims, and optionally at least a rib connected between a pair of the rims; a set of paper clips integrally connected to the frame via the rims and the rib; each of the clips including an outer retainer, an inner retainer and a yoke connecting the outer retainer and the inner retainer; a rupturable junction extending between the frame and the yoke.

Abstract: There is disclosed a medication container which is adapted to be side loaded with unit doses of medication during packaging operations. After being filled with the unit doses of medication, the container side is sealed. The medication doses can be removed by a user from the sealed container by means of a child resistant removable closure at one end of the container.

Abstract: A carrying case for a portable hard disk drive. The carrying case is particularly adapted to hold a hard disk drive that complies with the PCMCIA specifications. The case includes a cover that is pivotally connected to a base, so that the cover can be rotated between open and closed positions. Within the base portion of the case is an elastic insert which contains a slot that can receive a drive unit. The elastic insert is constructed to significantly dampen any shock load that is applied to the case and prevent damage to the drive unit.

Abstract: An infant identification device includes a clamp and a clamp container for holding the clamp. The container is supplied with the clamp sealed in sterile conditions under a cover. The clamp has a label area and the cover includes a region of pressure transferable ink. When the clamp is sealed in the container the region of pressure transferable ink lies over the label area of the clamp. Thus, writing applied to the cover over the pressure transferable ink is transferred to the label area of the clamp. Once the clamp has been inscribed, it may be removed from the container by peeling back the cover. After removal, the clamp is applied to the umbilical cord of the infant thereby providing a sealing means for the cord and a means of positive identification for the infant.
