The portable treatment unit comprises steam spraying means that is configured to disperse the steam from the first of two surfaces towards the second of the two surfaces. The appliance comprises a means for containing the steam dispersed between the two surfaces that are pressed together. Thus provided is a hairdressing appliance whose performance is comparable to that of hairdressing appliances with high flows of steam, yet while using a reduced flow of steam.

The shield is configured to cover the receiving slot such that access to the receiving slot is restricted from a first direction. The tool also includes a secondary cleaning tool coupled to the first arm. The plurality of spring-loaded mechanisms extends and retracts the plurality of retractable brushes and the removable casing within the manual cosmetic body. The plurality of retractable brushes are makeup brushes that are preferably interchangeable. The removable casing contains stand-alone makeup brushes that freely move within the removable casing. The removable casing is entirely separable from the manual cosmetic body. The apparatus further includes a rotating cosmetic body, a primary adapter and a removable brush. The rotating cosmetic body automatically and continuously rotates the removable brush and is connected to the manual cosmetic body by the primary adapter.

Abstract: A liquid dispensing comb for untangling hair. The liquid dispensing comb includes a handle attached to a head, wherein the head is hollow and includes a shaft extending from the handle and a plurality of tines extending perpendicularly from the shaft. A plurality of apertures are included along the length of each tine so to allow liquid to pass therethrough. Further, each tine alternates in length so as to allow the comb to access varying depths of a portion of tangled hair. A bladder is disposed within the interior of the handle, wherein the bladder can store and selectively release liquid into the head of the comb. In use, the bladder is actuated or pressed, wherein liquid is forced outward therefrom, into the tines, and out through the apertures, such that the hair is wetted with water or untangling liquid as the user combs through tangled hair.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a decorative item with an interchangeable portion. The presently disclosed device can be attached to the hair, clothing, or other suitable surface and has an interchangeable decorative feature that does not require the purchase of a large number of similar items to vary the appearance of the decorative item. The preferred embodiment of the device is similar in nature to a barrette with the inclusion of two attachment means on opposing ends of the barrette. The interchangeable decorations can be attached to the attachment means on the barrette.

Abstract: A toothpick assembly including a toothpick and case within which the toothpick is detachably engaged. The toothpick includes a tapered tip which is generally triangular in cross-section having opposed sides connected by a generally flat bottom and an apex. A bristle array is provided on each side and the bottom and apex are free of bristles. The bristle array is configured as a sinuous or serpentine wave. Bristles in each array are smallest closest to an end of the tip and progressively increase in size as you move away therefrom. The toothpick is movable within the case's bore between a fully retracted, a partially extended and a fully extended position. A locking mechanism selectively locks the toothpick in any of these positions. When the toothpick is to be changed, the locking mechanism is disengaged and the toothpick is slid out of the bore and is replaced with a new toothpick.

In another preferred embodiment, the thin sheet of silicone has an adhesive backing for attaching the thin sheet of silicone to the nail.

Abstract: A dental floss apparatus for cleaning the gaps between adjacent teeth which is comprised of a pair of handles which are configured for engagement with the fingers and having one or a plurality of strands of flossing substrate extending therebetween. The flossing substrate extends within an opening formed between the ends of the two handles, during tensioned employment of the handles by a user. A dissolvable component may be positioned within the opening through an engagement with one or both of the handles or the flossing substrate. The dissolvable component dissolves to a solution during use to deposit a residue on the surface of the teeth. The solution from the dissolving component may be colorized or fluorescent, and have an additive material such as mouthwash, breath freshener, cooling agent, or flavor.
