Abstract: A method for synchronizing information includes generating media corresponding to a program. One or more media timestamps are associated with the media. Data corresponding to the program is also generated. One or more data timestamps are associated with the data. At least a portion of the media is provided for presentation on a computing device. A current media timestamp corresponding to currently playing media is received. Data having a greatest data timestamp that is less than or equal to the current media timestamp is identified based at least in part on a comparison of the current media timestamp to the one or more data timestamps. The identified data is provided for presentation on the computing device.

Abstract: A system and method of disseminating bootload images through a wireless network are disclosed. The central node, or server, transmits segments of the bootload image using broadcast so that all wireless network devices receive the image at the same time. The server then individually queries each wireless device to determine whether there are any segments of the image that were not received by that particular wireless device. The server then retransmits, using broadcast, any segment that was not received by any wireless device. Once every wireless device has the entire image, the server may initiate the process of installing that image.

Abstract: A set of runspaces with active connections are maintained in a pool. A set of timers are set and, based upon the timers, simple commands are submitted through the runspaces, to maintain the connections in an active state. The runspaces with the active connections can then be used from the cache, without having to open a new connection.

Abstract: Features are disclosed for facilitating remote management of network directories of organizations by a directory management system. The network directories may change over time, experiencing growth in size and number of current connections, increased latency, reduced performance, and the like. The network directories may also shrink over time, experience fewer connections, etc. Organizations can define scaling policies by which the directory management system can automatically respond to the occurrence of various events, such as changes in the size or usage of the organizations' network directories, by scaling resources associated with the directories. The directory management system can perform various scaling actions on-demand or without requiring additional action by the organizations, thereby reducing the time and effort required by the organizations to monitor their own directories and implement (or request implementation of) changes.

Abstract: A digital broadcast network is provided in which multiple original experiences powered by the same data is created. A server software intelligently handles delivery of data so that the data can be utilized by several different client-side applications at substantially the same time. Through filtering of large amounts of data and creation of a universal format, this data can be used by devices capable of receiving a digital broadcast stream.

Abstract: Methods and systems for a networked storage system are provided. One method includes assigning a quality of service (QOS) parameter for a storage volume of a networked storage environment having a first storage node and a second storage node, where the QOS parameter is defined by a throughput value that defines a maximum data transfer rate and a number of input/output (I/O) operations executed within a time period (IOPS); distributing the QOS parameter between the first storage node and the second storage node; determining that throughput credit is available for processing an I/O request for using the storage volume; determining that IOPS credit is available for processing the request by the first storage node; and processing the I/O request when both the throughput credit and the IOPS credit is available.

Abstract: A device and method for determining a master device in a neighborhood aware network (NAN). The method includes identifying a number of peer devices located within communication range of a first device and that are capable of communicating via the NAN. A master rank value associated with a corresponding peer device is retrieved from each received response. A first master rank value is calculated for the first device, at least partially based on the number of responding peer devices. The first master rank value is compared with the received master rank values of the responding peer devices. In response to the first master rank value being greater than each of the received master rank values, the first device assumes a role of a master device within a NAN cluster that includes the first device and the responding peer devices.

Abstract: A client computing architecture is provided that utilized minimal download and simulated page navigation features. A client computer may receive a payload comprising delta data in response to a navigation request for an electronic page. The client computer may further parse the delta data for the electronic page, update page contents for the electronic page based on the received delta data, determine whether one or more errors are associated with a page load process for the electronic page, manage a fragment identifier portion of a uniform resource locator (URL) to track a current location in a navigation of the electronic page, and intercept one or more navigation click events to ensure a minimal download strategy navigation.

Abstract: A method and system for processing messages is disclosed that includes receiving a plurality of messages directed to a user, where each message has a unique message identifier. Each of the plurality of messages may be associated with a respective conversation, where each conversation has a respective conversation identifier. Also, each conversation includes a set of one or more messages sharing a common set of characteristics that meet a first predefined criteria. A list of conversations is displayed as a set of rows in an order determined by a second predefined criteria, where each row corresponds to one of the listed conversations and includes at least a sender list, a conversation topic and a date/time value. The contents of a conversation is displayed when the user selects a conversation from the displayed list of conversations. Messages can be displayed in one of three modes: expanded, compacted and hidden.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and computer readable media for extending the lifetime of a network address when an address system is unavailable. In a particular embodiment, a method provides, upon determining that a first network address for a network element has reached a preferred lifetime for the first network address, transitioning the network element to an extended rebind state that allows the first network address to remain in the preferred state. While the network element is in the extended rebind state, the method provides attempting to contact an address system and determining whether a second network element is assigned the first network address. The method further provides maintaining the first network address in the preferred state and the network element in the extended rebind state until contact is made with the address system or the second network element is determined to be assigned the first network address.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards integrating cloud-based services to create custom business processes. A process flow may be generated to perform a custom business process. The process flow may include service channels such that the service channels are coupled together by flow fields to create a custom business process. If event information is provided, one or more service channels may be determined or based on the event information and configuration information associated with the service channels. The event information may be provided to one or more input flow fields of the service channels. Result information may be generated by the service channels based on the event information and the configuration information. The result information may be provided to output flow fields of the service channels. Also, the result information may be forwarded to input flow fields of a next service channel.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include methods and systems for domain name system (DNS) pre-resolution. A method for DNS pre-resolution is provided. The method includes initiating a DNS lookup call for one or more sub-resource uniform resource locator (URL) hostnames associated with a referring URL prior to navigation to the referring URL, whereby a resolution result for at least one of the sub-resource URL hostnames is cached in a DNS cache in preparation for navigation to the sub-resource URLs. The method further includes learning relationship information including the sub-resource URLs associated with the referring URL for DNS pre-resolution. A system for DNS pre-resolution is also provided. The system includes a DNS pre-resolver, a navigation monitor and a relationship data store.

Abstract: An arbitrary customer instance is transferred from a customer environment to a target managed-infrastructure-as-a-service cloud environment as a transferred image. An image adjustment plan, capturing at least one adjustment required to render the transferred image compliant with standards of the target managed-infrastructure-as-a-service cloud environment, is formulated. The image adjustment plan is executed to adjust the transferred image to obtain an adjusted image compliant with standards of the target managed-infrastructure-as-a-service cloud environment. The adjusted image is on-boarded into the managed-infrastructure-as-a-service cloud environment as a standard image thereof.

Abstract: Systems and methods for delta state tracking for event stream analysis. Events at a device are tracked and stored locally or forwarded to a server. The events collectively form an event stream. When an event of interest occurs, the precise configuration of a device at the time of the event of interest can be determined by applying the event stream in chronological or reverse chronological order to a snapshot of the device's configuration. Thus, the snapshot can be taken at any time. Tracking the deltas to the device's configuration enables the precise configuration at the time of the event of interest to be determined.

Abstract: A health kiosk system is provided. A kiosk has a computing unit and a physiological measurement apparatus connected to the computing unit. A Web browser of the computing unit transmits information corresponding to the physiological measurement apparatus and a request for a resource to a Web server. In response to receiving the request, the Web server transmits to the kiosk profile-specific Web content responsive to the request and specific to the received profile information. The information corresponding to the physiological measurement apparatus may be transmitted in a URL or HTTP Cookie of an HTTP request.

Abstract: Exemplary payment networks and methods are provided for facilitating data transfers. One exemplary method includes determining a subset of network routers that offer access to a regional hub based on network address summaries for first and second routers and prioritizing the first router over the second router, based on a specificity value of each of the first and second routers, as defined by the network address summaries. The method also includes checking whether a connection to the first router provides a viable data transfer path to the regional hub and recording the path to the first router in a routing table, when the connection to the first router is viable. Further, the method includes receiving a request to transfer data to the regional hub and transferring the data, via the path recorded in the routing table, to the regional hub.

Abstract: A method for facilitating communication among web connections connecting to a web application is disclosed. The method includes receiving an indication that a web connection to a web application is established, determining if the web connection is a potential host or a potential client connection. The method includes creating a connection group having members that include at least one of the host and the client connection; allowing the members of the connection group to communicate with each other by receiving a request from at least one of the host and the client connection for a message to be communicated to the members of the connection group; and sending the message received from the at least one of the host and the client connection to the members of the connection group.
