The manufacturing device includes an inner core metal placed inside a first pipe, and a tubular intermediate core metal placed between the first pipe and a second pipe. The intermediate core metal includes an intermediate core metal main body and a tubular first intermediate movable portion. The first intermediate movable portion is coupled to an end portion of the intermediate core metal main body, and swings about a first intermediate pivot axis relative to the intermediate core metal main body. The intermediate core metal main body includes an edge positioned closer to the first intermediate movable portion while the double pipe is bent. The edge intersects an imaginary plane orthogonal to a central axis of the second pipe at a position where the second pipe contacts the intermediate core metal.

    Abstract: A device for cold working pipe elements has two or more cams, each having a gear, the gears being synchronized to turn all of the cams. Each cam has a cam surface with a region of increasing radius and may have a region of constant radius extending around a cam body. One or more cams may also have a traction surface extending around a cam body. A discontinuity in each cam surface is aligned with a gap in the traction surface of each cam. The discontinuities and gaps provide clearance for insertion and removal of the pipe element between the cams to form a circumferential groove when the cams are rotated. An engagement body is mounted between the cams to engage and disengage from a stop surface on one of the cams. Engagement between the engagement body and a stop surface prevents rotation of the cams.

    Abstract: A method and device for manufacturing a large-sized thin-walled tubular part by gas-liquid internal high pressure forming (IHPF). A gas and a liquid are filled at a certain volume ratio into a thin-walled blank. The pressure of the gas-liquid mixed fluid is mainly determined by the gas pressure. During the deformation of the thin-walled blank, due to a large compression ratio of the gas, the gas-liquid pressure will not basically change with the change of the volume of a blank cavity. A support pressure on the cavity of the thin-walled blank is stable in the entire forming process. In addition, even if there is a slight leakage of the liquid or gas during the forming process, the medium pressure inside the blank will not fluctuate largely. In this way, embodiments lower the requirements for the sealing effect during the tubular part forming process.
