Also, a tactile vision system includes such a display writer, an image processor, and an image sensor. The processor transforms RGB image information from the image sensor into hue-based information having two or more attributes; and the actuators in the tactile display writer are activated by the information attributes.

A normalized distance between the point of intersection of the two linear components and a centroid of the silhouette is computed, compared to a data set and used to determine a direction of movement of the object.

When there are a plurality of candidates for the reference picture, a correlation direction calculating unit obtains a combination in which a correlation of a pixel on an original picture is high among combinations of encoded divided pictures and their reference pictures.
