  • Patent number: 7124965
Abstract: A spraying gun includes a gun body, a handle, a sealing gasket, a connecting member, a control valve, a control handle, an outer control tube, a control shaft, a catch block, an inner control tube, a control ring, a drive ring, and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle head, a first mounting ring, a second mounting ring, and a rotation ring. Thus, the spraying gun has a three-stage control effect to provide different water output functions so as to fit a user's practical requirements, thereby enhancing the versatility of the spraying gun.

  • Patent number: 7118049
Abstract: A hose-end sprayer has a selectively rotatable rotary valve received within the transverse bore of a housing which includes a carrier liquid inlet passage, a chemical liquid inlet passage and a discharge passage. The valve has a carrier liquid duct and a chemical liquid duct opening into the carrier duct for interconnecting the inlet passage in a first rotative position of the valve, and the valve is capable of closing the inlet passages in a second rotative position of the valve. The rotary valve is selectively rotatable in a third position for interconnecting the liquid passage only with the discharge passage in a rinse position of the valve. Container venting is isolated from a valve chamber in which the rotary valve operates to avoid entry of carrier liquid into the container through the open vent in the ON position of the valve upon its selective rotation.

  • Patent number: 7111796
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a sprinkler apparatus and related methods for the distribution of fluid. The invention preferably includes a nozzle rotatably driven by a pressurized flow of fluid along a fluid path. The invention preferably includes a housing separating a magnetic drag coupling assembly from the fluid path. The coupling assembly preferably includes spaced apart magnets configured to exert an attractive force on each other to rotate one magnet in response to the rotation of the other magnet, and a resistive/drag force to oppose the continuous rotation of the nozzle. Pressure offsetting structures minimize or even neutralize the upward/downward forces that the flowing fluid otherwise would exert on the rotating shaft assembly.

  • Patent number: 7108205
Abstract: A drip irrigation tube having a plurality of sequentially placed emitters formed on an interior wall of the tube. Each emitter employs a series of parallel flowpaths axially positioned along the tube to provide for closer proximity of inlet ports to discharge chambers thereby providing for closer spacing of the emitters. Overlapping of the inlet portion of the sequentially positioned emitters with the outlet portion of any preceding emitter provides for even more compact positioning of the emitters along the tube.

  • Patent number: 7104478
Abstract: A material spreading device for spreading material over a targeted area includes a receiving portion for receiving a plurality of bags of material, a hopper assembly and a material moving device. The material spreading device is configured for use on a vehicle. The hopper assembly has a bag holding portion and a material dispensing bin. The bag holding portion receives at least some of the bags and retains the bags at or near the material dispensing bin. The hopper assembly includes at least one opening device for opening the bags such that material within the opened bags is deposited into the material dispensing bin. The material dispensing bin is operable to dispense or broadcast the material over the targeted area. The material moving device is operable to move the bags of material along the receiving portion and toward the hopper assembly.

  • Patent number: 7100838
Abstract: A novelty drinking straw assembly and its method of construction. The drinking straw assembly has a straw tube through which fluid is drawn. A first magnet is disposed within the straw tube. The first magnet is part of a rotor mechanism that rotates when fluid is drawn through the straw tube. A novelty object is disposed around a section of the straw tube. The novelty object has at least one second magnet. The magnets in the novelty object interact with the first magnet contained within the straw tube. This magnetic field interaction causes the novelty object to move about the straw tube whenever the straw is in use and the first magnet is rotating within the straw tube.

  • Patent number: 7051955
Abstract: A chemical sprayer system includes a three-way valve that includes an inlet port coupled to a fluid source, a first outlet port in fluid communication with a first elongated fluid passage, a second outlet port in fluid communication with a second elongated fluid passage, and a control. The control allows a user to place the three-way valve into one of a first ON state in which the first outlet port is in fluid communication with the inlet port, a second ON state in which the second outlet port is in fluid communication with the inlet port, and an OFF state in which substantially no fluid is allowed to exit the inlet port. The first elongated fluid passage terminates in a nozzle adapted for spraying foam. The second elongated fluid passage terminates in a nozzle adapted for spraying liquids.

  • Patent number: 7032841
Abstract: A hand-held battery power sprayer is formed of a body having a spray nozzle, a trigger, and an internally threaded attachment collar having a passageway therethrough. The attachment collar removably receives a container. As battery powered pump is positioned within the body, the pump having an inlet and an outlet, the outlet being connected by a discharge tube to the spray nozzle and the inlet connected by a suction tube extending through the inlet collar passageway into the interior of a liquid-holding container when the container affixed to the attachment collar. A battery is contained within the body. A switch within the body is actuated by this trigger. Circuitry connects the battery, switch, and pump in series. A passive check valve member normally closes the passageway preventing fluid flow from the container into the body and is displaceable to permit air flow into the container.
