  • Patent number: 11263415
Abstract: Software on an image-capturing device iteratively captures a visual code in a series of visual codes displayed in a repeating progression on a screen of a mobile device. The visual code was generated from a display block that resulted from a partition of an original data file into a series of display blocks of at least a specified size. The software converts the visual code back into a display block and reads a header for the display block, discarding the display block if it has already been captured, as determined by the ordered identifying block number in a header. The software stops the iterative capturing when all of the display blocks in the series have been captured, as determined by the count in the header and coalesces the captured display blocks into the original data file, using an order determined by the ordered identifying block numbers.

  • Patent number: 11257334
Abstract: A system includes a template database storing, for each of a plurality of predefined root causes, a corresponding correspondence template and response form template. Each root cause corresponds to a cause of an exception associated with an ATM. An automatic reconciliation tool determines a exception has occurred associated with a ATM. A set of exception parameters are determined associated with the exception. A party is determined at the service provider with which to correspond in or order to resolve the exception. A root cause of the exception is determined. A correspondence template and a response form template are identified for the determined root cause and used to generate correspondence which includes a description of the exception, instructions for actions to take, and a link configured to provide access to a response form. The response form includes fields for providing a response parameter.

  • Patent number: 11250307
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods facilitate enrollment of authenticating biometric data for authenticating an authorized user via a biometric sensor. A data input device and a power source are operatively coupled to a smart card including a fingerprint sensor. An activation code input by the user interacting with the data input device is compared with a predefined activation code, and if the detected activation code matches the predefined activation code, a fingerprint template is enrolled from fingerprint data received from the fingerprint sensor, all without transmitting data from either the power source or the data input device to any device other than the smart card.

  • Patent number: 11217051
Abstract: A system for providing credential activation layered security is disclosed. In particular, the system adds a layer of additional security at ingress and egress points of a location, such as a building. When a user attempts to check in at the location, the user may provide a proof of physical presence, a proof of digital presence, or a combination thereof, such as at a device at the location. In order to activate a credential for accessing physical and/or logical access control systems of the location, the system may authenticate the proof of physical presence, the proof of digital presence, or both. If the system authenticates the user, the user may be checked-in and the credential may be activated so that the user may access the physical and/or logical access control systems of the location so as to gain access to the ingress point or exit via the egress point.

  • Patent number: 11209244
Abstract: An automated weapon system is comprised of a human transported weapon comprising a barrel and munitions; sensing means; targeting means; computational logic for determining where to aim the human transported weapon; aim computational logic; firing activation means; and, firing means. The munitions can be aimed towards a targeting area to be propelled through the barrel. The sensing means senses which of up to a plurality of targets are within firing range of the automated weapon system. The targeting means selects a selected target from the targets in the targeting area that are within the firing range, responsive to the sensing. The computational logic determines where to aim the human transported weapon so that the munitions will hit the selected target if fired at a firing time. The aim computational logic adjusts the aim of the munitions through the human transported weapon, to compensate as needed for where the selected target is at the firing time, responsive to the determining where to aim.
